He was curious why he had never heard of the girl. As far as he knew, Dante had no relatives. He was also wondering why she was spending time with Christopher Thorn, a married man.
"Where's Lilith? I have not seen her beautiful face this evening."
The Duke had not been around when The Lord's wife passed away.
"She died in December. Lilith was struck by a carriage right before Christmas." Christopher explained with a pained undertone.
"Milord, I'm sorry to hear that. Condolences," expressed the Duke. He felt bad for not knowing.
"Thank you, your highness. I hope you listen to Rose and buy Neptune a new saddle." Christopher changed the subject. It was still painful to think about how his wife had died.
