Chapter 3: 5 years old

When I was blowing the candle from the cake while celebrating my 5th birthday in a fancy restaurant, memories of what seemed to be my previous life and conversations between me and the god Vassio have returned.

'So I really reincarnated in an another world!'

Looking through my 5 year old body's memories, it seems that this world is a Fantasy type but.. Why is it so advanced to the point it is on par with Earth's technology.. No even better! Not only that! It seems like our family has a higher social standing in the society! Looks like god has made it easier for me to live out my life here.

'guess I'll have to thank him lots when I see him again'

Sounds of cheering and clapping interrupted my thoughts and a man who has golden blonde hair, blue eyes, a dignified looking face and seems to be in his middle 20's approached me with a wide smile.

"Happy Birthday Seraphine! Congratulations on reaching your 5th year of existence!" - Dad

That's right, he's my father in this world. Before I forget to explain I have 2 brothers, 2 sisters and a mother who has silver hair, green eyes, and looks and figure that will make every woman cry in envy once they see her bearing the title of the 'silver flower' in the social world.

"Thank you Father"

Suddenly my body started to shine throughout the restaurant hall and the familiar sounds of bell rang. The crowd suddenly erupted sounds of cheering and astonished voices.

"As expected of the Daughter of the Valendistine family!"

"To be blessed by a god while awakening is a historical moment to witness!"

'What's going on? Did that god send me another cheat skill?'

"To witness our daughter Seraphine's awakening, let us all give rounds of applause and enjoy the feast!"

Cheers of delight are heard after Mother finished her speech and everybody started to talk to each other while some others started to eat.

"Seraphine we're going to the church tomorrow and activate your status" - Dad

Status? Activate? There are lots of information being said after I regain my memories that my 5 year old mind seems to have difficulties right now so I'll just have to follow the flow.

After the night of my celebration we went back home riding a rather expensive looking futuristic car. Our house is not mansion nor a common looking house but a skyscraper that looks like it will pierce the heavens with it's height.

Soon after we reached our supposed to be called 'house' we went to the elevator and chose different floors because our rooms are apart. What? How can a 5 year old girl live in a really spacious room by herself? No not really, mother and father comes here most of the time after they are done with work and I have a personal maid on standby right there so I am not bored in the slightest.

'this life will make most protagonists in novels probably crying in envy once they know how I start my life'

I went to my room, changed my clothes and after that I went to sleep.

I woke up to the sound of the phone calling. I reached to the side but found no phone right there instead I found a round glass object and

pressed the glowing green button. The television in front of my bed turned on and the face of my father is shown on the screen.

"Good Morning Seraphine, get ready in 20 minutes, we'll head out to the church and activate your status. Don't forget to brush your teeth and clean yourself. I'll be meeting you at the bottom floor" - Dad

"Yes Father~ Fuwaa~"

Getting up on bed while still yawning, I went to the other side of my room where there is a table located.. Food already in place.

'goodness I don't even see the need to cook everyday in my previous life if I got a lifestyle like this. I must thank Maria for making me food everyday.'

After I ate breakfast I went to shower at the bathroom and I spotted a full body mirror and stopped. I went forward to take a look at myself.

'silver hair with gold at the tip, blue eyes, and an adorable face. A face of a child who will grow into a fine beauty in the future.'

I undressed my rather cute looking clothes and went to the bathroom and saw my maid Maria there. She has brown hair that curls at the tip and emerald color eyes.

"Good morning Seraphine-sama. I'm here to help you wash yourself" - Maria

"Thank you Maria for doing this everyday, Im really sorry for the trouble everyday"

"It's alright Seraphine-sama, it's my job to care of your needs" - Maria

Ahhh what a life! I'll wholeheartedly thank god for giving me lots of blessings in this life.

After taking a bath and changing clothes. I went to the elevator and pressed the button for ground floor. I saw my father waiting outside inside a black version of the futuristic car we rode yesterday.

"Come on Seraphine, this is an important event in your life we've got no time to waste." - Dad

I went inside the car and father started the engine and drove us towards the church. While driving around the road, I can see different varieties of people, people with animal characteristics and people with different stature that you'll see mostly in fantasy novels. Demi-humans, Elves, Dwarfs, Demons, and other mixed races.

'the world really has advanced so far, no discrimination and no slavery can be seen at all.'

After an hour of driving. We went outside of the car and saw a huge white building that looks like a castle If not for people coming in and out freely. It looks shiny and new and it's size is really huge!

"Come on Seraphine, let's go in" - Dad

Once we went inside the building, I just realized that we're already inside the church and an altar is seen at the back.

"Welcome Mr. Valendistine, I see you have brought your daughter, meaning she has just reached the age of 5." - priest

"Yes that is right, I'm here to activate her status" - Dad

"Ooh! Splendid! Well then let's activate her status" - priest

The priest grabbed his cross shaped necklace and it suddenly emitted light. A huge sphere with rings of gold rotating around it descended from the roof in front of the altar.

"Now now let your daughter touch this platform with her hands and she will activate her status" - priest

It seems like to activate my status I need to touch this golden plate in front of the orb with rotating rings around it. I touched it with my tiny looking hands and lights shone inside the orb. After a few seconds, the light dimmed and vanished and there is a floating black panel with words in front of me. I read the words written atop of it.

"Status"
