Chapter 2: Reincarnated

Just as I feel like my mind is slowly drifting away, I feel like my entirety is being sucked away by an unknown force. It sucked me until I felt it stopped after what felt like an eternity of being knocked around. A sound like a bell can be heard in the distance. I feel like my consciousness and my senses returning at a fast pace and suddenly the sounds of clanging bells stopped.

"Wha- Im.. alive?"

After I muttered a few words, suddenly lights filled the room and apparently it seems like I'm inside an office? a large office workplace that is often seen at CEO companies in movies and looking around me there are chairs and other people sitting on them. The chair in front of us rotated and a man in a white suit who looks to be around middle 30's is sitting in there with legs crossed and an arm on his chin.

"Welcome lost souls but first things first, My name is Vassio and I am what you call a god in your world and all of you have been lucky to have been selected as souls who will reincarnate in an another world with few benefits" - Vassio

I can't seem to believe what I am experiencing right now and out of nowhere a god just suddenly said that we were lucky and we're going to be Reincarnated? I've always believed in the teachings of the Catholic churches in Earth but seeing a god is truly an unbelievable experience.

"So in another words, we will be your test subjects or entertainment materials? I've read a lot of novels in our planet so those are the only things that I can think of while you reincarnate us" - a random glasses boy

"Those are the times of the past, we gods don't do that anymore because we've found a better purpose and made better policies not involving the lives of humans" - Vassio

I honestly can't believe that glasses person who has made impolite remarks in front of a god! What will happen to him if he was hit by a thunder or something similar that will end his life.. again?

"Ah no need to worry about those missy, we are used in handling cases like this so such remarks doesn't affect us anymore" - Vassio

"I sincerely apologise for stating out my thoughts just now, I hope you will forgive my rudeness" - Hana

In novels and animes, gods can read minds so I'll be careful with my thoughts and expressions as to avoid trouble.

"Well it's alright putting that aside, all 10 of you will be given out wishes according to your karma points based from your previous lives. Touch the transparent crystal on the left side of your chair to indicate how many wishes you'll get and what your life will be when you get reincarnated." - Vassio

All of us looked to our left side and there was indeed a crystal there. I touched it and it started to glow blue with a hint of yellow and has the number 4 etched on it. I didn't notice that the others we're gone and all the other people are nowhere to be seen around.

"Hmmm looks like you get 4 wishes and a somewhat better life after you reincarnate. Now tell me, what is it that you desire?" - Vassio

My heart started to beat faster and I was feeling nervous as I think of wishes that will fulfill my desires in the another life.. Or maybe I can also?

"My first wish is to make sure my parents and friends in Earth are living happily and safe."

"My second wish is to have a system that will assist me in my life in the other world"

"My third wish is to gain 20x experience points if the world ever has a status-like mechanism"

"My fourth and final wish is to have a healthy body including immunity to diseases and debuffs"

"Hmmm you're wishes can be granted because you're crystal seems to glow blue but about your first wish.. It's the first time I encountered a person who wished for the sake of their family and not wanting more unreasonable wishes." - Vassio

'uwahh guess I'm the first one to wish for something that involves family safety. I seriously can't believe protagonists thinking about their families but not using their wishes for their safety'

"Alright then.. Due to having a gold color on your crystal you will spin a roulette to find out what extra benefit you will take." - Vassio

'This is too much! I'm totally considered a cheat person now! A person who is basically considered as a protagonist!'

Suddenly out of nowhere a massive roulette came out of view with lots of symbols and small writings below it. I stepped forward and held the wheel with one hand and brought my hands down as strong as I can and the roulette started to spin fast. After a few minutes of spinning, the roulette is finally showing signs of stopping and soon it stopped pointing to a symbol of golden wings with evolution written on it.

"Yes congratulations, you have received an A rank skill where you can evolve.. This skill is extremely rare even in the A class skills so you must be really lucky" - Vassio

"Thank you for your praises and allow me to thank the opportunity to gain benefits as well."

- Hana

"So.. I've taken an interest in you and because of that, I'll give you a name. A named soul is much potentially stronger than most. You're name will now be Seraphine and with that, we are considered as a father and daughter." - Vassio

After he gave me a name, my body shone in rainbow colors and soon angelic wings appeared in my back. Huh. I can't believe what he just suddenly said. He and I are basically family right now? And that makes him my father right? I can feel a sense of familiarity to him compared from before so I guess this is what he meant.

"Looks like you're now ready, now it's time to go and you'll be forgetting everything that happened here until you reached the age of 5. Have fun in the other side Seraphine" - Vassio

Not too long after he said my name my consciousness turned into black and it feels like I'm getting sleepy as time passes by until my consciousness feels none.
