"I only suspected it but I didn't think that it was actually them, Helena since you heard them you can testify on them inside the court and those two will be arrested,,, Ivy stated trying to reason,,,may be you are the only person we needed to finish this once and for all." She added.

Helena looked at her puzzled didn't she mean to say that she was suspecting them? But why?

And yes she will testify to the court but her father told her they keep it to themselves for a while before they find Meli.

"Father said that we keep it to ourselves first until we find Meli." She told them.

And they got the reason why? Helena turned and looked to Alex.

"Alex I understand if you hate me." She told him looking down at her hands, she didn't want to sound emotional.

Alex looked at her, what was she thinking, was she thinking that he would leave her, no never, only if death separates them but other than that, he would never do such a thing.

Of course he was a little upset because she didn't tell him yesterday when he asked her, how it went with them, but that was all, he knew it has been hard for her to find out the truth. On top of it, it was your own mother and brother.

He didn't want to imagine that happening to him. He can't imagine what she went through.

"Honey why would you say that?? He asked holding her hands,,,I don't hate you I will never do that, I know you're not like them, so remove that ridiculous thought from your head,,," he stated then knock his head making her smile.

His words were like sun melting away the ice, Of course she was nothing like her mother and brother, she will never be like them.

"Do you really mean it?" She asked breaking.

"What do you think?I am joking?" She asked a little offended.

She smiled then hug him. "Thank you I thought you were going to hate me because you might think that I I am evil like them." She stated sobbing in his embrace and Alex tapped her back to stop her crying.

"I will never do that." He said breaking from the hug, then slamming his lips with hers.

"Okay I will leave you two now." Ivy stated then left to grab something to eat, she left them to give them their time, and she also knew it was time for breakfast and food must be also ready.

She went and have shower, yesterday she went back home with her father to bring some clothes for herself and her brother.

After Breakfast, they went back to the Demetrius chamber.

"So guys how are we going to find out where Meli is?" Ivy asked.

Alex was excited how her sister has changed, she was even helping someone he thought it was her rival, he really liked her new side.

"I will be watching my mother and Alex you will be watching my brother." Helena said

"And what will I do?" Ivy asked.

"Ivy you need to only watch over Demetrius." Helena stated.

"we got to stick together in this, we can put Demetrius men to watch over him and I can also do something." Ivy protested.

"Okay and we will have to behave we like we don't know anything." Helena said, She knows her mother knows that she haven't tell anyone so she will use that to her advantage.

Meanwhile Melissa, after she cried all night from the time she was kidnapped, she finally fell asleep without even knowing. She thought maybe if she sleeps she will escape this cruel world and cruel people who did this to her.

What did she do to this person to treat her like this, for him or for her to tie her like this as if she was some kind of an animal, She can only cry, she can't even shout to get some help.

But she didn't sleep long before she was woken up by cold water being poured on her face, She woke up and found out she was still tied, she tried to move but she couldn't she wanted to shout but she couldn't.

They remove the blindfold from her eyes then the cloth they used to cover her mouth. She felt like she can breathe again a hot tears seep her eyes as she see a little bit of light of light from a small space that was left up the wall.

Since last night she was only seeing darkness, she looked around and didn't quite know where she was, was she outside the palace? or was she just inside the palace?

And can someone find her, but how? her husband who could have saved her was in bad health, the more she thought about the more she cried, this was over.

This people will kill her then kill her husband then take what they wanted from the start.

She was thinking a lot that she forgot that she was no longer blindfolded and her mouth was not sealed anymore.

She could smell the aroma of the food it smelt so nice but who will eat in that condition, she looked up to see the person who brought her food she couldn't see her face, it was covered, the person was in a disguised.

But Melissa could tell weather she was a woman or a man, Men usually tend to have this Genetic body and the person Infront of her didn't have that, but who was the person, she just know she was a woman.

Was she the queen or was she Ivy or Maybe Helena, right now her mind was not thinking straight that she thought everyone was a suspect.

"Let me go, my husband needs me, what do you want from me?" Meli shouted trying to move from the chair but she was so damn hard.

She only watch as the person bring near the food and loosened her hands a bit for her to eat, she was famished but she didn't want to eat, the food smelled nice but she didn't have appetite, Moreover she was scared that the food might be poisoned, if she could eat poison food she will die within no time because the poison was the deadliest one, still she didn't understand why Demetrius was still alive.

The next moment she slapped away the food that it ended up falling across the room the plate scattering into pieces.

The person watched the food and together with a plate, she got furious. The next moment she removed the knife from her back and placed it on her throat.

"Next time if I bring food and you do this,I will cut your stupid hands, do you know how food is hard to find." The person stated brimming with fury.

And hearing the person's voice she couldn't tell if it was a woman or a man because she had them both.

"How about you just kill me because I am never going to eat as long as I am in here." Melissa stated looking at her.

"That is not my problem, who is going to starve? me or you?," She asked then let go of her.

"Help me someone please help me, he....."she shouted but then cut off, She couldn't no more because the wicked lady covered her mouth again. She tried making noise with the cloth on but she couldn't utter a word.

Then she watched the woman as she pick up the scattering of the pieces of the plate and one cut her hand, she sucks the blood and just continued with what she was doing.

She finished then just left, locking her inside, she just cried untill tears couldn't come out no more.

From the small window someone could tell the time with, Soon it was lunch, she couldn't help but wonder if the same person will bring her food.

From the way she talked about food, it seem like she didn't like food being wasted, maybe she could talk some sense into her and maybe she might let her go.

"I can't believe what happened to the princess." Enid cried.

Just this morning they wanted to serve her breakfast, so they went to ask her what she will want, upon reaching there, they were shocked with people they met.

They asked where, Lady Meli was? what they were told was completely shocking. Was kidnapped tonight! by who? who will do such a thing?

Why was bad things happening to good people?

"Who could have done that to her?" They cried and other fellow maid tried to coax them, but it wasn't helping.

Emily on the hand was getting more scared everyday, one day the truth might be revealed and she might get into trouble.

She must leave this palace very soon, she hid her cut hand, she didn't want people seeing and start asking questions.

She was in charge of only mopping the kitchen if anyone would see her cut they will wonder why she has a deep cut like that. she stayed away from the crying girls.

"Mother." Helena called her mother, she didn't know how she will uncover the truth from her, one thing she was sure about, her mother will never tell her the truth no matter what.

When the queen saw her she was surprised, million questions ran through her mind, what did she want from her? she already cut all her ties with her, what must have happened for her to seek her.

"Yes my dear how can I help you?" She asked with a soft gaze and a small voice.

"Where are you going?" She asked approaching her.

"I am going to the kitchen."

"Can I come with you?" She asked now she was near her.

The queen cursed she had some agent business to do in the kitchen, if her daughter comes with her, she will not be able to talk the business and if she refused to go with her then, it will look as if she is hiding something. So she must let her come with her whether she liked it or not.

"Yes sure." She answered, now what was she going to do in the kitchen? if she can't talk her business out.

They arrived in the kitchen, the moment she arrived, everyone stopped what they were doing and stood still.

Helena understood she really rule this places, everyone was staring at there feet as if scared that if they look up they might die.

The queen just started inspecting the place touching everywhere checking if it was clean, apparently this was the only excuse she can come up with to put her business pending untill her daughter gets away from her. Good thing she hasn't done this for months, since she was busy with other things.

"Why is this place dusty like this." She asked furiously.

The maids flinch, Why shout this early in the morning? People just had breakfast, the kitchen will be cleaned. But they couldn't voice out loud.

"My queen we were just about to clean the kitchen we were still having breakfast." One of the maid stated, sweat was starting to form on her forehead. The woman seemed like she was on her early Forties.

Helena looked at her with pity, she didn't want to treat anyone like that in her life, she didn't want to scare people hell out of them like that the way her mother was doing now.

Her eyes look through this people who were scared to death, you can tell they were really scared some were even stating to shiver. Just when her eyes were almost leaving them her eyes caught Melissa's handsmaid. what were they doing here?

She walked to them. "What are you guys doing here?" She asked them completely ignoring her mother who was furious for who knows what reason.

"Well get to work, don't just stand there like statues." She scolded and the maids scattered still scared.

They could just pray that she leaves the kitchen, they can't do anything with her there, or else they will end up braking things out of fear.
