Now it was funny, He was hiding not Demetrius to see him and Demetrius was hiding not be seen by the people Infront.

Going upstairs Meli run to Helena and she hug her before proceeding with her going to her chamber.

"What was that for?" She asked.

"How did you do that?" Meli asked smiling at her, this girl is just good in every way.

"What?" Meli asked why was suddenly everyone acting as if it was a big deal to make the king laugh, he didn't even do that much, first it was Rosa and Enid and now it was this princess.

"Make the king laugh like that?" She stated.

"I really don't know." She stated before opening the door of there chamber but suddenly her face turned sullen not finding Demetrius there.

"Who are you looking for?" Helena asked knowing full well who she was looking for.

There was only one person who can make her face change like that, and it was his brother Demetrius.

"I can't help but think since lunch time he has been acting strange avoiding me." She stated in low voice, she really didn't know what to do if he dares avoid her.

Giving her the taste of her own medicine.

"Why would you think that?" Helena asked. She wanted her to remember quickly what she did at lunch, but the girl had no clue.

'And yes what did she do to make him avoid her nothing?' She asked in her head.

"As long as I can remember I did nothing for him to be mad at me." She stated looking at Helena and she got it she was clueless when it comes to love.

She will do the same if thing if Alex did that to her, talking to some other girl together with her on the table not paying even attention to her.

"I think I know what is wrong." She stated looking at her.

"You u do?" She asked with a creased eyebrows.

"My brother is mad because you completely avoid him over lunch time, instead of giving him attention you gave my brother Charles, I think that is what pissed him off." He explained it to her and she recalled she really did do that.

Forgetting that he was next her and she didn't even bother to glance at him even once. Oh goodness gracious help me.

How can she do that to him? so that is why he has been avoiding her, after eating lunch, he just left without her.

Not long she heard the knock on the door and it was Enid and Rosa, they came to look if she needed something.

"Bring my Dinner later in my chamber." She told them.

"Okay we will take your leave." Enid said the two girls left.

Leaving Meli looking through the window. Her mind wonderer back to the King.

All this time Meli was looking at him, she understands he was angry at her, but was he that furious that she couldn't even talk to her, she needed to apologize and makes things right again.

She closed the window removed her robe remaining with her night gown, she placed it on the bed and walk on his side.

Without giving Demetrius any warning she straddle him her legs going side ways, then took the book away from him.

Leaving Demetrius staring at her as if she just fell from the space.

"I am sorry about what I did lunch." She stated looking at her hands.

Wait does that mean she knew he was angry with her? but she didn't tell her.

"And who told you that I am angry with you." He asked completely ignoring her and also trying to avert his gaze from her.

Right now she looked ready to be devoured, she was wearing a purple sleeveless night gown, that was showing her clean cleavages and her dress was up on her knees revealing her clean thigh.

Meli was left with her lips hanging, may be he wasn't angry with her, she was just overthinking, but come to think of it, he avoided not only once but twice, she really did offend him and she must apologize.

She took the book and said yes to his condition, she will read the book, if he wants she can read it all for him.
