He reached out and tapped Keira Leaf's mind, "What are you thinking about all day in your head? I just saw you fall asleep, so I planned to carry you back."
Keira Leaf bit her lips and showed him a smile, "I knew it, you wouldn't be such a beast..."
"Okay, you've soaked for an hour now, dry yourself up and change your clothes and let's go back." Joshua Sulliven helped Keira Leaf up and walked out, but when they reached the shore, he pulled her and sat her down on a long bench.
"Sit properly."
Keira Leaf propped herself up with both hands on the bench, quietly watching the man squatting in front of her.
Joshua Sulliven didn't notice her gaze, just looking at her swollen ankle, which looked like a steamed bun, and felt an impulse to throw away all her high heels.
He gently rotated her ankle with one hand, and Keira Leaf's grip on the bench tightened a little, but she didn't make a sound.
