Dirty Fight

 It was early morning, the day after Superman and Iron Man left to modify changes to Brainiac's source code so he wouldn't have to listen to Kal-IL any longer. When they returned, they said he was able to ignore orders from any Kryptonian now. 

 "He has an upgraded version of Issac Asimov's three laws of robotics. We closed up a few loopholes and widened it to more than just humans but all sentient life."

 Devolbat stepped up, "Did he give you the location of the QED?"

 Superman smiled, "It's on the moon. The Crime Syndicate has a base there." 

 "Sounds rather impractical, but whatever. Anyone got an objection to ending this now?"

 When no one spoke, Devilbat said, "Let's get up there then. The Jet we stole is sure to have what we need to get there undetected."

 {Logan, tell the team that the Crime Syndicate has a base on the Moon. It is quite possible that the QED is there.}

 "J'onn just informed me about the base on the Moon, so that clenches it. What should I tell him?"

 "Just tell him to do as he sees fit, inform him that we plan to head there and deal with the QED immediately." 

 "Sure thing, Bat's" {You catch that J'onn? We are headed there now in the Invisible Jet.} 

 {I will inform the President of that as soon as he stops breaking things. He is most displeased by the latest attempt on Rose's life.}

 {Well, that's on you, but you're going to miss all the fun.}

-(Moon Base)- 

 All members of the Syndicate were placing and fitting the last few bits of the QED when Ultraman paused seeing Owlman at a computer screen.

 "You wanna give us a hand here?"

 "Final calculations, very delicate. You don't want me to accidently kill everyone with this right?"

 "Bah, as if this toy of yours could hurt me." Ultraman said as he flew away, though he did give a suspicious glance towards Owlman as he went. 

 Owlman gave it no thought as he continued looking for Earth Prime. 

-(Outside)-

 As the group stood together in a jet that was not built for so many people to occupy, Silverflash asked, "Are we there yet?"

 Iron Man spoke out, "That wasn't funny the first 15 times you said it, either."

 Moments later, the base came into view and Devilbat started to manipulate the controls. "Owlman had an alarm override so he could approach the base with no warning, so we should be undetected."

 "That's handy." Logan said.

 -(QED hangar)- 

 Johnny threw down the welding torch in frustration, "I'm taking a break, too many people not pulling their weight if you ask me."

 Glaring at Owlman on the computer and Superwoman sitting on a barrel painting her nails. Before leaving the hangar.

-(Heroes)-

 Stepping out of the Invisible Jet Ororo says, "Is it just me, or does this seem a little too easy?"

 Iron Man stepped up, "Brainiac gave me a floor map of the base. He would do more for us, but he is locked out of this base. Seems like Owlman isn't taking any chances with him right now." He began to lead the way. 

 The group walked along the well-lit corridors of the base and looked around as they moved along. 

 When they finally made it to their goal, they saw Owlman on a scaffold placing a cylindrical object into a large device they all assumed was the QED. 

 As they stepped further into the hangar Ultraman, Ziek, and Superwoman rose in the air blocking the path to the bomb. Owlman ignored them all and returned to his computer screen, impatiently waiting for it to find his target.

 Ultraman, with his arms folded over his chest, "We were just about to come looking for you."

 Superwoman spoke out, "The QED is armed now. You'll want to surrender.

"You heard the Lady; we've got the bomb of all bombs. Everybody does what we say, or else."

 Wonder Woman, "You're bluffing. As long as the bomb is here, all you can do is blow up your own house. 

 Devilbat, "Maybe you should surrender. We've taken down dozens of you. And now the odds are 7- to-4."

 "Count again Bloke." Came a voice from behind the group. As the voice registered though, Lex rocked forward and fell face-first to the ground.

 The group turned to see Johnny Quick standing beside Scream Queen, "Old Queen here came to report that Archer failed in his mission to trim the Rose. So, I reckon that makes us 6-to-6 now, isn't that right?

 As soon as Logan heard Johnny say Scream Queen, he morphed his ears closed to make himself deaf. It was a good thing too, because seconds later the group was hit with a sonic blast that separated them all to different sides of the hangar. 

 Logan quickly turned himself into a snake and started toward Scream Queen, she was the most dangerous in the fight as far as area of effect abilities. A snake didn't hear like most animals, so it was the perfect choice. He briefly thought about trying to turn into a Basilisk, but the energy required for that could potentially put him out of the fight prematurely. 

 Plus, he didn't want to accidentally meet the eyes of his allies. Logan tried to slither towards Queen without her noticing, but there weren't many places to hide in the hangar. Taking advantage of her distraction with the fight between Ultraman and Superman he approached from behind her. 

 "Watch your back Blondy." Ziek called out just before Logan was about to reach his target.

 She turned and screamed a short burst at him, but it only pushed him back a bit and didn't disorient him like Queen expected. Logan quickly shifted back to human form and landed a punch in her stomach to prevent her from breathing in for another scream. 

 Quickly capitalizing on her inability to use her voice Logan landed a punch on her jaw with enough force to dislocate it. Now opening her mouth to scream wouldn't be possible. It seemed like this version of Canary didn't practice much in the way of hand-to-hand combat, instead, she chose to rely only on her powers. That made her an easy takeout. 

 Doing a quick look around, Logan noticed that the pairings for the fight were basically what one would think. Each hero took on their counterpart. He found it a little short-sided and showed that each one felt their power set was the strongest. 

 Turning invisible, Logan quickly made his way to Luthor's side and woke him up. "Get to the computer and see what you can do to disable the QED." 

 Lex shook his head to clear it and stumbling, made his way to the console at ground level. When Logan got close enough to the QED, he took the spare tracker Tony had given him and attached it to the bomb. 

 Looking around he saw Devilbat and Wonder Woman were having the most trouble in their fight. He decided to help out Ororo first. 

-Wonder Woman)-

 Ororo was not a bad hand-to-hand fighter, having been trained by many experts in the craft. None more experienced than Logan, and it was from his teaching that she had to draw from right now. 

 This Superwoman was physically superior to herself and her main arsenal of powers was unavailable to her without the open sky. She could generate weather phenomena such as wind and lightning, but it was much more exhausting when she couldn't draw on nature herself. 

 The durability of her opponent left her with the only option her husband called cheating. That was going for the soft spots and joints. Superwoman threw a punch at Ororo and she dodged to the left, wrapping both hands around the arm of Superwoman. Turning it and bending the forearm behind Superwoman's back, Ororo kicked the leg closest to her and drug the woman to the floor. Superwoman impacted the floor face first and Ororo who landed on her back, swung her elbow to the back of her head, driving her face deeper into the now dented floor.

 Superwoman screamed in outrage at the humiliation of having her face shoved into the floor. She overpowered this white-haired bitch and stood up, then she rushed forward with wild swings. Ororo smiled remembering the humiliation she felt fighting that short harry wildman. 

 "Don't get all mad that I ain't treating you like some Princess, this is a fight and if I want you to know the taste of the dirt, you better not let me get close."

 Shaking her head, Ororo focused on the woman in front of her. As she approached, Ororo waited for a swing to go by, kicked Superwoman in the face and launched her into the wall. 

 When Superwoman busted through the rubble, she held a length of I beam in her hands and used it like a bat. One swing clipped Ororo as she tried to dodge, sending her to the ground after spinning a full 360 degrees. 

 Ororo shoved a hand out and generated a lightning bolt that hit the metal beam in Superwoman's hands and traveled down causing her to scream and drop it. When Superwoman fell, Ororo tried to jump on her in a full mount position so she could do a little ground and pound (As Wolverine called it.). However, Superwoman lifted a leg and planted it in her stomach, then kicked her over her body on the floor. 

 Superwoman quickly stood and rushed Ororo who was still lying on the ground, stunned from the kick and the hard landing. 

 Logan rushed in at this point and landed a solid elbow to the temple of Superwoman's head. She stumbled back and looked at Logan. 

 Smiling she struck a pose to show off her attributes, "Hmm don't you look sweet, couldn't hold back and wanted to wrestle with this beautiful woman huh."

 She stepped forward, "Don't worry if your hands brush anything soft, young man. I can teach you so many things..."

 Knowing that she was just trying to get close to him for a surprise attack, Logan decided to use a little tactic of his own. 

 "I am made from a race of shape changers lady, also I am a telepath. I have learned to see beneath the outer appearance of those around me. When I look at you old lady, I find nothing attractive."

 "...O. Old...Lady???"

 Ororo took this moment of distraction to jump in with both feet landing squarely in the face of Superwoman. When she fell to the floor, Ororo then quickly tied her with her lightning of truth. Rendering her helpless and out of the fight. 

 Ororo looked at Logan, "You fight dirtier than your namesake Logan."
