Oak's Lab

Not much has been happening in the past few days. Chancy takes me out and polish's my shell occasionally. She's very attentive. I thought about making an escape, but i haven't had the chance to.

The fear of being Ash's Pokémon has dulled. I thought of something worse. What if professor oak realizes I'm special and gives me to Garry. Now that's a nightmare. In the anime Garry has a car. If i end up with him i'll make it look like he had an accident. I know that's dark but really can you blame me for thinking about it.

Chancy hasn't left me alone for a moment. I haven't been able to learn many moves. I learned harden... Yea that was the only thing i could think of that wouldn't wake up chancy. This seriously sucks. At least I know ill be hatching soon since their sending me to oaks lab.

They plan to send a hatched Pikachu over if I hatch out wrong. Apparently this world is not beyond allowing birth defects. It was a surprise to me, so much for being a child friendly show. This world's different from the show in some ways.

Their are laws against certain breeding practices. Eggs come in all the time from illegal breeders or Irresponsible trainers. Some Pokémon come in off color or with completely different colors and are labeled shiny by shady sellers. their are some natural ones like the ones in the show and games.

(Thoooomp) I was monologuinggggg aaaaaaAAAAAHHHHH!

(Ding)" Professor the egg has arrived."

"good set it down with the others."

I don't remember oak having assistants.

"Professor the eggs are hatching."

"Good, cover their faces. We don't want them bonding while we're running tests. They're certaintly healthy. Ball them for now."

"Professor what about this one? It hasn't hatched."

"Leave it over night. If it hasn't hatched by tomorrow I'll have one sent over."

I ain't breaking out till you all leave.

(Tik tik tik) That took forever. (crack crack) lets see what I'm working with. night vision, not surprising. Pokémon are animals after all. Mirror mirror on the... no mirrors huh? that cabinet looks shiny.

"Hello handsome, your bit strange for a Pikachu aren't you? I don't remember pikachu having all that fire. I could swear your something new." (Creeeak) "Huh?" (Shatter) "What ya lookin at, never seen a.. pika pikachu pika" (Thump)

"Crap. I thought i was going to have a heart attack. Hey. you alright. you didn't keel over on me old man." (Slap slap) "Yup he's out." ooh Pokédex, yoink!

(Snap) "Unidentified Pokémon detected. Report to local authorities. Nothings more dangerous than the unknown, leave it to those who know."

"The hell? Sorry professor but I'll be taking this. Oh before i go." (Pop) "Hey little guys your going to have a trainer who'll make you strong and feed and be friends. Theirs a trainer named Garry. He's a mean one. if he's mean to you smash his Pokéballs and you'll be free. Return! bye for now."

"Where to now? OH! would a baby Pokémon know what Pokéballs are? It should be fine."
