Just the Beginning

Mary came back from work, she was very tired.She shut her door behind her and went straight to her room to take a shower and go to bed. Her room was so dark, the only light visible was the reflection of the moon from her window.She stood in front of her room for a moment before she entered, she switched on the light, looked down then carried her face up with a smile " i didn't know i was gonna die today" she said but got no response " No response huh" she still had the smile on he face as she walked over to the table took the wine as she poured some into the wine glass " you still thinking of what to drink when you're about to die?" someone spoke behind her "but take it i can wait, after all it's your last drink".Mary didn't bulge instead she drank it" Last drink? this can't be my last drink" she said looking at the bottle"i don't like it".Mary turned and saw the person, she couldn't tell if it was a boy or a girl.The person wore a hoodie and covered it's face with a mask and it was dark." i wasn't expecting you this night" Mary said as she search the room with her eyes looking for something to use as a weapon but found nothing at arm's reach.The killer took a knife out of his pocket and made it's way closer to Mary.Mary took two steps back as the killer took one, she was scared and dared not to show it" we can actually talk about this" Mary said with her arms down trying to calm the killer but things doesn't work that way.The killer swung the knife at her but we was fast enough to dodge it. Did it again and again as killer swung right Mary went left, if killer swung left Mary goes right, until the killer kicked her down " Fuck!, that was cold, am a woman for God sake, go easy on me at least ".Mary took her vase and threw it at the person, who fell on the bed , this gave her the opportunity to rush to her purse and take out her gun" Dont move" she said pointing it at the killer.The killer stood up an stood still for a moment " who sent you" she got no response " who is your fucking leader"

" Am just following orders ma'am and you need to die" with that he ran towards Mary who pulled the trigger but was slow so it didn't hit killer.The killer gave Mary a deep line of pain on her arm which made her drop the gun and scream, she used her other hand to hold the injured one, she was bleeding, at this point she didn't know what to do " am i going to die here?" she asked herself, then she looked at her window then back a the killer took her bag from the bed" lets meet again" she said as she jumped down through the window and landed on her car, the killer rushed after her but didn't jump down, instead he went for the gun, but it wasn't loaded, he went back and Mary was smiling though her car window, she salute killer with her two fingers before she drove away" I'm one lucky bitch" she said

Steven was in his sitting room playing with his dog when he heard a knock on his door, he put his fingers on his lips telling the dog to shut the fuck up while he listens, he heard the knock again,he stood up lifted his coach and took his gun as he walked slowly towards the door, he heard the knock again" who is it?" he asked but got no response " dont joke with me right now, who is at the fucking door?" he still got no answer.he walked slowly not letting his step make a sound, he reached his door, placed his ear on the door to hear a sound but he heard nothing, then looked though the door hole and saw no one.Then he heard his back door open. Steven's guts were in his throat at this moment.He tiptoed till he reached the kitchen door then peeked inside but saw no one" what thaa" he said as he stood there" am sure i heard this door open" he went to the door but the door was not only closed but locked, the he went to the peek though the kitchen window but saw no one outside " what re we looking at" Mary said from behind him also peeking outside.Steven jumped out of fear and also pulled the trigger" calm down steve it's only me" Mary said with her hands up " Fuckkkkk Mary, why the fuck would you do that, i have a fucking front door" he said stretching his hands to where the door is" i know, and i have been knocking but you didn't open up, and i was in a hurry, sorry about that" but she wasn't sorry at all" look at your face its all red" she said laughing.Steven gave her a shut-the-fuck-up look that was when he noticed her bleeding arm" Mary" his eyes turned from anger to concern " yeah" mary answered, but he said nothing then Mary traced his eyes to her arm" oh this?, i was attacked few minutes ago"she said trying not to show the pain " attacked?, how did you survive? " he asked in shock " what the fuck do u mean by that, was that meant to be an are you okay ?" she said as she walked into the sitting room" i need to shower" Steven followed her " okay sorry, but its clear that you re not"

Mary sat down as Steven clean her arms, which was so painful and she made sure nit to scream, when he was done with the cleaning they heard a knock on the door " not again " Steven said" wait were u followed?" he asked in fear" No, i made sure of it" then they heard the door open, they both hid behind the the chair" i will shoot whatever that thing is" steven said.Mary took the gun from him" you need to confirm your target first, now but the count of three, you run that way while i go this way okay" Mary said" but you are armed and i am not, what if it comes after me"

"it wont, okay 1....2....3, go" they both ran different direction " What the fuck are you guys doing?" Mary stopped and turned" Beth?"

Beth stood there looking at the both of them " Am i interrupting something or where u guys about to play hide and seek" she said laughing " Beth this is not funny, why didn't you use the front door, i will kill one of you guys these days" steven said itching his brows " No but were you guys playing, it was funny the way you guys just ran as one who escaped hell, if i was a killer you guys would have been dead, cause i heard the counting " she said with her shoulders lifted up "Beth, what are you doing here?" mary asked with a low tune.Beth face turned serious, lisa was attacked and mike is dead".
