He turned to Akashi and used his telepathy, his words cutting through the chaos like a blade, "They are aiming for us first." Fang could read the tension in the minds of the soldiers before him—fear, uncertainty, and blind loyalty to their orders.
Blind loyalty was only what they wished to give but each one of them was close to wetting their pants.
Akashi, on the other hand, was shielded from mental intrusion, his thoughts carefully guarded. He could telecommunicate as his wolf was suppressed not missing. Most humans were born with wolves extremely suppressed they were very human, but not Akashi.
