CHAPTER 59: Not a Second Time

Like someone flipped a switch all sound around us switched off and everything hit slow motion. He turned both palms up and the ground shook. The energy radiating off this guy was exciting. I can guess that anyone else would be intimidated by Gavin. Call me stupid, call me insane, but everything in me craves this fight. We both rush each other and meet with an explosion. We are both moving and dodging each other’s blows and just when I was about to make a move to strike him, I feel an iron fist make contact with my stomach. Fuck! My body became airborne, and my back hit a tree on the other side of the training grounds.
“Brax if he hurts my baby, I’ll burn their kingdom to the ground!”
I hear my mother say.
“Willow, get back to the castle. It’s not safe right now.”
“Not without my son!”
