"NIC STOP!" I screamed stepping in the way and to my disgrace Jame had swung to hit nic but instead punched me.

I heard more rustling as I felt my back hit against hard my mind slowly drifting away seeing all black...

Beep Beep..Beep Beep..

That was the only sound I heard as I tried opening my eyes but couldn't.

"Zoe...please open your eyes baby I wanna see those green eyes of yours, I miss you" I knew that voice from anyway.

Connor.

I felt someone take my hand in theirs as they light squeezed my hand and told me if I could hear hear them to try to respond anyway I could. I pushed my self to try and wiggle my toe and to my surprise it was successful.

"WE NEED A DOCTOR IN HERE NOW!" I heard someone scream out.

Hearing foot steps near the bed I tried moving but nothing.

"Ok sweetpea I know you can hear me so what i want you to do is try really hard to open your eyes, It will hurt for a little but the pain will go away as soon as your eyes are open. Which I suppose that was the doctor who was talking.

Using all the muscles in my face I tried opening my eyes, I got in open but shut it just as quickly it had opened.

"I'm sorry let me dim the lights a little" the doctor said

"Alright try again sweetie"

Trying again I managed to pry both my eyes open, I blinked a couple times letting my eyes adjust to the people I saw in the room and the lights.

"ZOE!" I flinched at the Louis voice and heard a sorry as I looked up seeing elle, sam, and dahlia all looking at me like some weird creature from out of space.

I felt someone huge me from the side pulling me out of the trance of seeing something out the hallway, staring at me was this tall male figure blue eyes, and black hair looked really well built and looked as if he was sad, yet angry.

"Hey sis, I'm glad you're finally up and is ok" my brother said letting go of me as I gave him a small smile looking down at my hands then back out in the hallways seeing no one there and thought it was just another person going to see someone or maybe he knew someone in the room with me.

What was strange was the

connection I felt like we had just be looking at him.

"Zoe..hello world to Zoe" my head snapped in the direction of my friends but in the back of them stood the last person I didn't wanna see, My ex connor.

"What is he doing here?" I asked pointing at my friends but was meant for the person behind them.

"We tried to keep him out but he lied and said he was family"

I laughed and held my stomach "family? And they believed him?"

"ZAYN, WHERE'S ZAYN" I shouted starting to panic and the heart machine begin to spike up faster and higher as I tried to get out of bed.

"Ma'am please stay I-"

"Look I don't know who the duck you are but I need to find my little brother" I squinted at her ready to snap people's head off.

"Zoe he's alright, aunt meredith is watching him right now" my brother said helping me back in bed.

"Now rest will you..I'll bring him tomorrow to see you if you'd like" I nodded my head anxiously smiling.

"Nic?" I said with a puzzled look on my face

"Yes Z?"

"What happened?" I asked trying to think hard.

"What happened" she asked looking at me.

I honestly didn't want to tell her how she got here..but I know if I didn't tell her someone else probably would have.

"Um ok so i don't know what fully happened but I'll tell you what all I know of ok?" I said sitting admin the bed by her feet.

She nodded sitting up in the bed crossing her legs over looking at me.

"Alright so what happened was"

Flash back

"Hey bro I'll catch you later I need to get home to check up on my little sister and brother just text me when you see him again we need to talk. I left from a friends house and stopped by the grocery store to pick up some things for the house, after leaving wholes food I ended up stopping at the station to re-fill the the car tank and made Mt way back home.

When I pulled up the house i saw an unfamiliar car in our driveway, I tried calling your phone but it went straight to voice mail which I thought was strange because you always answer your phone and if you dint answer you'll message me.

I came inside the house and I didn't hear anything so i put the bags down by the front door and looked everywhere downstairs before making my way the the second floor which is where I started hearing screams, I ran up the 3 flights of stairs and down the hall to your room busting in the room and taking that mother-f*cker by his neck off of you and we began to throws punches at each other,next thing I know you screamed for me to stop but I kept punching him and you out of no where jumped in front of me and he swung punching you in the face which made you unbalanced and you hit tour head on the side of the table. Blood spilling from you and from that ass hole.

And I called the ambulance and now your here."

End of flash back

"What happened to him? Zoe asked looking a little shaken up probably remembering what happened that night.

"Don't worry about where he is, just know your big bro took care of it and you dint have to worry about him anymore" I told her stroking her cheek.

"Get some sleep and I'll be back up here tomorrow with zayn" she nodded and hugged me as I kissed to the top of her head.

"If you need me just call, I'll be here in a sec" I said and she chuckled laying back down and I closed her door back up leaving out.
