She needed all the practice and experience she could get. As soon as the two of them began, Safira realized why Amarna had asked. There was a crucial point she had forgotten. Wendell was no normal wolf. Just like her, or even more so, he had the blood of the ancient wolves running through his veins.
His fighting style, and his level of strength, were far beyond that of Greyson and Archer. Though both wolves were great warriors in their own right, there was only so much they could teach her.
The enemies they fought were regular wolves like themselves. They had no experience fighting someone like Wendell. But Amarna has. When Safira was thrown onto her back for the third time in a row, she felt defeated.
She was panting, gasping for air. Though the week-long training had given her back some of her strength, it wasn't enough. If she could not even level with Amarna, how was she going to fight her brother?
