THE moment Thomas mentioned that name, I turned to look at the owner of it. Diana’s face was pale as her skin, her eyes were wide and tired from her earlier crying.

The truth was, we never really went away. I stayed in the hallway before the living room. Alpha Nathaniel and Diana did the same. I guess it was the right decision as we have just now witnessed my cousin’s admission about his mate being the killer.

I didn’t know how Tara deduced that from everything, but what surprised me the most was that Thomas actually confessed. I’m not sure if what he was saying was the truth, but I don’t think any person would ever endanger their mate for nothing. Thomas just handed us his mate as the killer.

Taking a step backward, I saw Alpha Nathaniel approach Diana. He had a hard look on his face. Diana was looking at him; I can see she was scared of what he would do.

“Alpha Nathaniel,” I called his name and took a step towards him.
