chapter 1 _Raine
"Mom I'm coming "I said after I heard my mom's calls ,I ran to the dinning hall to see her
"Raine I need you here to help call your father and brothers"she said staring at me
"But mom why can't the maids do it ,I don't want to do it,I'm so hungry right now that I can't even move"I said to mom and she only giggled
"You're so childish and lazy,how many minutes will it take you to go call your brother for breakfast, you said you couldn't move then how did you get downstairs"she said ,wow she really means me today ,i grumbled and I heard her say"lazy girl" I quickly rushed to my brother's room
And I banged on the door like I was carzy
"Asher open this door right now "I screamed and when I saw that he did not open ,I pushed the door and it was opened and I saw Asher on the bed with his personal maid
"Asher "I screamed and he jerked off the bed and I started laughing the maid was so embarrassed that she couldnt hide it because her cheeks were so red like the cherry at the garden.
"What are you doing here Raine "he asked trying to cover the maid
"You mean what is she doing here right?, because your personal maid is suppose to be waking you up but instead she is here with you on the bed and you know that Mom musnt find her right ?"I said smiling wickedly
"Please don't tell Mom,ok what do you want and I'll give you "he did know that he made a huge mistake by asking me what I want
"Well I want the new crystal neckless that Amanda has ""and oh I also want it to have Amanda's and my name on it because hers has the same "I said
"But that's going to cost me alot of coin and I don't really have much left"he stated and by this time the maid had run out
"Well that's not my business ok"
"Ok I'll find a way out "
"Also I want it to be from the kingdom of serenoa ,they are known for their good jewelries and their good Smith's "I said
"But that's way to far,don't you think mom will find out I'm gone"
"And don't you think mom will find your personal maid slept with you last night "I said and he rushed to close my mouth when the cloth he was using to cover his d***fell of and I shouted running out of the room .
I didn't bother to call my brother and father again,I just went straight downstairs cause I was more hungry due to the talking .
I climbed the last stairs and I met my mom's angry face "where were you young lady ?" She asked
"Well I want to call Asher and we had a brother sister bond that I forgot to call the rest but on the bright side they are here"I said pointing at my father and brother who just stepped in
"We'll have this conversation later young lady"she said and we all day down
"So where is the Asher you went to call why is he not here"I looked up the stairs and saw that Asher was not down yet and in our house we have this stupid rule that everyone must eat together on less there will be no bond ,and I was dieing here ,but thankfully Asher came down
"What took you so long"mom asked
"Mom please forget about Asher and let eat ,some of us are dieing "I said and they laughed at me and I don't know what's so funny .
We started eating and my father started talking about the the Kingdom .
Let me introduce my self ,my name is Raine Demetrius I'm the last daughter of king Demetrius,I have two brothers Asher is the crown prince that is going to take the kingship after my father ,while Quinn is the second son of the house ,so that makes me the baby of the house ,my father loves us so dearly that he always does anything to keep us save ,he also loves the kingdom alot and our kingdom is one of the smallest kingdom in the whole place ,the largest kingdom is Serenoa and that are know for their jewels ,like crystals ,diamonds,gold and many more ,they are known for their Goldsmith,they make the best jewelries you could ever find in the world .Rumors have it that the king of serenoa is a bloody killer and he has no remorse ,and I have never heard anything for a long time about them hopefully as my brother goes there he will be able to get me a few little gossip .
"Raine are you okay?you've not touched your food "mom asked
""Sorry I zoned out ,I think I'm done "I said and went to my room and I saw some maids there
"My princess please are you ready to take your bath"a maid asked
"Yes I am and I want the water cold "I told them.i always do this when mom forces me to wake up ,I always go eat before bathing and I know that it is not princess like but who cares.
The maid came to tell me that the water is ready and that I can come in and some more maids came and they helped me remove my corset and dress,now I was left with just my pair of white shorts and my mini top,they helped remove that also and I was left with my underwear,they also pulled that also and I was naked ,they led me into the bath house and when I entered the maids that will bath me were already ready ,I stepped into the water and they put lavander oil into the water
"Are these fresh lavender oil "I asked
"Yes my princess ,we grinded it just this morning before you woke up"she informed and I smiled
She took some soap and put it on the rag and she started scrubbing my body with it ......
After the bath ,I was told by one of the maids that my father had an invite to a ball ,and that we must all be present so I started dressing, first it was my underwear ,then it was my inner wears,a huge basket ,a dress and then some corset , everything felt so big .I was told to sit down ,they help me put on my jewelry ,Serefina the girl that always does my hair started making it ,she braided a part and rolled some sides to make it coiled ,after that she put it all packed up with some Bobby pins and I think my hair was ready ,one came and put some cherry oil on my lips to make it more Pinker,and they started dropping perfume oils on my body to make it smell nice.
I looked at my self in the mirror and I felt like I was seeing someone else
"You look so gorgeous my princess"Serefina said
"Thank you all for making this possible"I said .
Well that's one thing about me I'm not a spoilt brat, just because my father is a king I'll make sure I suffer all the slaves around ,infact I treated them as my friends and they all loved me and I loved them too .They could always confide in me and tell me when there is something wrong and I could also do the same to them so we were almost equally,my father thought us not to be rude to people just because we are royalty.
I got downstairs and I met Asher first"wow baby sis you look so gorgeous right now"he said
"Stop calling me your baby sis,and you know that you still owe that neckless so don't try sweet-talk me from forgetting because I'll always remeber"I said and his smile dropped before he could talk again he was cut short by mom who walked in with father and Quinn
"Wow baby you look so beautiful"mom said smiling and father nodded
"Yes if you were not my sister I would have married you instantly"Quinn said and I smiled .
"Okay that's enough family talk the carriage is waiting and we don't want to get there late so it's best we leave now "father said and we all moved outside ,I was in a carriage with Serefina and Zoey ,they were the closest maids to me ,they were like my personal maids and I trusted them so much.
We entered the carriage, mother and father entered one, Asher entered one with his so called personal maid ,wile Quinn entered with his guards.
Few minutes later we got to the central hall where King's from different town's and kingdom were present,where princes and princesses of the other kingdoms were present .This was just a ceremony for peace and harmony between every kingdom.
Rumors had it that king Marciel Torak was present in this party,so most princess including me were trying to see him .
I saw my friend Amanda,let's just say she is my best friend.
"Hey girl how are you and I missed you so much,I wanted to visit you but father said it was dangerous to come out with any guards ,so I couldnt by the way did you hear that king Marciel is present here"she said ,well that Amanda for you ,she can talk till the moon fades out and comes out again she will still be talking and she won't get tired from it .
"Well it's fine ,and yes I did hear that he was around but I haven't seen a glimpse of him around not even his guards"
"Are you sure it's not just a rumor that's not true"she asked
"Well I don't know but I'm really hoping to see him "I told her
"Me too"she said
"Well let's keep looking maybe we would find him around"I told her .
"Yeah that true "
Before I could speak again ,one of my father's bodyguard came to call me
"Princess your father the king is in need of your attention right now "he delivered and I followed him there but not before taking excuse from Amanda .
I entered the special Chambers and I saw my father and another man who I don't know sitting down.
"Good day my king"I greeted my father "you sent for me"I added
"Yes I did ,please take a seat"he said and I did as I was told ,I found out that the man my father was talking to was sitting in the dark only his robe could be seen ,and he was wearing a red robe with few touches of white ,you would know the it was embroidered with good pearls and it was beautiful .
"Father I'm really sorry cause any disturbance but I'll like to know why I was summoned here "I asked father
"I just wanted him to see you that all you may leave"father said and I left angrily,what a waste of time ,and I thought it was something important,what a waste of time ,I have to apologise to Amanda for leaving her like that ,I quickly rushed to check for her and I saw her with my brother Quinn well it might not be anything.one thing is that Quinn is older than me with two pearl(year)while Amanda is older than me with one pearl which means Quinn is older than Amanda with one pearl .I got to talk to her later and we left the ball.
When we got home Zoey and Serefina undressed me and I retired off to bed .....
