Daina and I had a tacit battle understanding.

We each commanded elite werewolves against the rogues.

With two attacks, we trapped them.

These rogues were weak.

Because they were outnumbered, this pack's werewolves were at their mercy.

Daina and I attracted the rogues' primary force, so the werewolves escaped.

I feared Daina wouldn't be as powerful after going without training.

She assaulted the rogues head-on, much to my amazement.

Daina smiled and said, "Stephan Buther, I haven't fought in a long time. It's their terrible luck to meet me today."

Her hair was flowing over her shoulders after the struggle.

"Daina, don't get hurt."

I couldn't stop watching Daina while battling the rogues.

Maybe it was beneficial for her to express her feelings, but I feared she'd ignore her own safety while battling rogues.

After observing Daina for a bit, I saw she wasn't as irresponsible as I anticipated and still remembered her training, so I let her have the main battlefield.
