Jack's request

Rofusio stopped talking as he realized that he had nothing more to do with Jack than just being there and awake. Also, he will not be able to interpret everything that Jack wants to convey to him.

"Why aren't you asleep yet?"

"Why should I? Do you think I was not aware that you were planning to carry out some sort of shameful plot against Amelia as I slept?" Rofus spoke as if he were sure of what he said. "I don't want to get out of bed early in the morning tomorrow and commit a grave sin without my knowledge because of you."

Jack chuckles after he hears Rofus opinion.

"My dignity is important. And sleeping tonight is not part of my plan."

"What do you mean, Rofus? Are you going to be awake until dawn? Can you do that, huh?"

"Of course, I can do that."

"Alright, if that's what your decision is. As you colleagues who reside with the same body, I'll respect it." Jack replies teasingly.

"Try me now, Jack. Let's see who is stronger between us two."

When Rofus finished speaking, Jack let out another silly laugh. To carry out his motive, he arranged a strategy, but Rofus needed to be asleep. His only desire is to have a better look at Amelia's innocent face while she is asleep. He didn't do anything bad to the girl's body. He won't claim it either without her permission. If Rofus can't do that, Jack is willing to do it for them.

"Tell me honestly, Rofus, do you find her not attractive at all? She is stunning in her exotic beauty. Her appearance is undeniably gorgeous. And her body is glorious and young-looking—"

"Jack!"

"What Rofus? I am just stating the facts!"

Rofus had already slapped his face several times, it was not hard to do so in frustration as a result of the nonsense that was being said by his wolf. After he had been teased a few more times, he was confident that he wouldn't comply with the request of the wolf in him to show up to their mate, who was currently resting. He will never do that!

"You are not allowed to do this because she is currently in Nikita's room. If Nikita finds out, I doubt that she will not act suspiciously if she sees us in her room. I can't tell if she believed me earlier that it wasn't me that Amelia met in Forester Woods; it was you. Please, Jack, refrain from adding anything that might be outrageous about her."

Rofus just forced it past his other ear.

"Rofus, you are familiar with me. It wasn't until today that I reprimanded you in such a manner. I apologize for not being a nuisance in the past. In any case, don't you have any plans to tie the knot? Amelia would make an excellent choice for the role of Luna in our pack, Rofus. I'm sure she'll be healthy and a good option for multiple pregnancies. I can't wait to see your adorable puppies!"

"Jack..."

Rofus took a long breath before rising from his seat and leaving the room. It seems that his patience is running out for his wolf, who shows no sign of wanting to stop talking. 

"Rofus..." Jack mimicked the tone of his voice as he spoke, "You know me very well. I won't stop until I get what I want—"

"Okay, I'll quit! Hold on, Jack. Just a Second!"

Rofus violently ruffled his hair.

"I let you see her for a quiet while, but on one condition. And promise me, you will accept it." 

"What do you mean, Rofus?"

"Stay where you are. You don't need to shift into wolf form. Instead, I was the one who was going to come inside."

"Oh, that was terrible. You don't trust me?"

"Yeah, I don't trust you anymore, Jack."

"Ouch, Rofus! The words you said hurt me."

Rofus did not entertain his wolf, who continued throwing tantrums inside him.

"And lastly, it will last only for a few seconds, Jack. We can't stay longer in their room—"

"Wait, Rofus! That was so fast. What if you make it a minute or two? We won't wake them up, so we don't need to hurry out."

"Do you think, Nikita, can't sense us?"

"What if we told her that her friend Amelia is our mate? She could help us to be near her."

"No, Jack!"

"Rofus—"

"You choose Jack; are we going to continue our plans or are you going to keep talking about your sentiment? I thought you wanted to see her. I already approved your request?"

"Fine, Rofus, you won, and I am defeated!"

Rofus made a full stop as he opened the door.

"Sorry, go ahead; what I mean is that I already agree with your terms."

"One more thing, Jack, would you remain silent? You can never tell me to do something that goes against my will. I only need you to keep an eye on her for a few more seconds, and after that, we will leave the room. If Nikita wakes up and discovers what we are doing in her room, then the situation will be even more of a mess."

"Yeah, sure. I will follow your rules."

After leaving the office, Rofus hurriedly went to the room where Amelia was staying and, without making a noise, entered the room. After what seemed like only a few seconds, they were already standing in front of the door. Snoring can be heard coming from the direction of the woman, who is currently clutching the pillow that Nikita handed her. The fatigue brought on by that day's events showed on her face. She is deeply asleep.

"Even though we haven't even spoken yet, I can already smell her pure and sweet scent."

As soon as Rofus heard Jack's voice, he gave up and stopped trying to go inside.

"Jack, have I not previously advised you to be quiet? You have already violated the terms of our agreement. If you keep mumbling and continuously commenting, I am not going to continue with this plan!"

"It's only a joke, Rofus. Come on, get inside. I want to see our mate now! Hurry up! I pledge that from now on I will zip my mouth!"
