THIRD PERSON POV

It was a fortunate turn of events that he was able to transform back into human form from that enormous white wolf before Amelia had the chance to see him in that shape. And because Alpha Rofus did not yet know her well enough, he did not feel it was appropriate to reveal his true form to her at this time. On the other hand, he had a sneaking hunch that she was a member of the human species and not of their kind, which he predicated on the fact that her face showed clear signs of innocence as a human.

"Rofus, what exactly are you up to? Why are you making her feel so scared, unsafe, and frightened? That is not likely to happen to her!" Jack's wolf was a nervous wreck once he got inside him. He attempted to change and shift once again while simultaneously leaping at his body, but did not succeed as Alpha Rofus prevented him.

It was important for him now to show Amelia that he was a real werewolf and that they were mates, so he again pleaded with Rofus to take on his wolf form, if only for a few seconds. But of course, Rofus disagreed.

"Don't make a fool of yourself and get involved, Jack! Stop trying to shift now!"

"Are you nuts, Rofus? Why are you yelling at her and me? What's the point? Are you out of your mind? Pull yourself together or let me show myself to her even for a second!"

"She is not getting yelled at by me! Avoid drawing any conclusions about the situation. And please stop trying to shift, as it was not going to happen, especially in front of her!"

"For crying out loud, she was our mate, Rofus! Why are you scared? Later on, she will know about us, as that was our fate. Don't be shy, Rofus! Come on. Do what I want!"

"I know...you really don't have any reason to keep on saying the same thing, Jack! No, you can't do that here!" Rofus replied to his inner wolf; he is also confused now.

"Why do you act this way if you are aware of what you are doing? You are not to blame for having a mate like her. Isn't she lovely? She is pretty and sexy. Do you agree? Look at the pair of her eyes and to her soft lips, Rofus!"

"She is a human, and you knew—"

"She was not a human, Rofus; believe me. She was not a man. I can smell the werewolf scent of her blood. She has a wolf that is currently resting inside her. Trust me, Rofus."

"No, I don't believe you. She is human, Jack. Take a good, long, hard look at her. If I were to describe her, I'd say she was just an average person or a normal human. There is no other trace on her face of being a wolf-like us. She was plainly a human, Jack, get it?"

The dazzling appearance of Alpha Rofus' face captivated Amelia for a short while. After some time had passed, she finally understood what he had been asking. Concerned, she peered around the area. There were just two of them at that place, so he is talking to her. At that point, she became aware that the individual who had approached her may have been a forest guard or ranger and that she had already been caught in the act. Her sneaky plan to enter without permission is going to infuriate him for sure. Leading her to execute, and perhaps she was asked to pay.

"I apologize, but I didn't want to enter this wooded area without first obtaining permission from the property owner. I simply find myself reflective and not thinking about things, and only find myself inside." Amelia stated in a soothing tone that she was now trembling in addition to her chest-thumping. She was well aware that she was in a bad situation because of this event.

"Rofus, I beg you, open your eyes! Don't do this. Investigate her thoroughly, as she is not a human being. She had a wolf. I am certain that she had one! You can ask her too if you are so curious. Please ask her now." Jack persisted despite the fact that he was still struggling with Rofus to accept the fact that he was unable to comprehend what Amelia was saying, which was her valid reason.

"Jack, please don't make it so that I am blind. I am aware that she is a human, okay? Period. This runs counter to the soothsayer's most recent prediction about who would end up becoming our mate. Maybe you were just wrong about it. Our mate was not a human, do you understand? Stop saying nonsense. Shut up and stay inside me. Don't shift!"

They kept arguing with each other, and Amelia could see that Rofus's feelings kept changing. Her anxiety level increased as a result of his silence as if he were fighting something in his mind. She couldn't stop thinking about how angry he was at her involvement in the woodland activity. Amelia was startled, and her almost-closed eyes dropped to the ground, when Alpha Rofus suddenly appeared out of thin air and changed into his wolf form right in front of her. Jack, you win this time! That rendered her speechless and made her appear to be on the verge of losing her balance in shock. Alpha Rofus transformation was unexpected. Amelia's attention was totally focused on the person standing in front of her who had suddenly become a big white werewolf like earlier.

"My father somehow had the right idea about saying that werewolves do exist on this island. There is proof, and it was in front of me. In fact, such creatures as the werewolf, like you, really do exist at this time, and he was not telling lies before, so I might be scared." She spoke in a low voice while her eyes were fixed on

Jack, the wolf form of Alpha Rofus.
