Chapter 14

Four weeks have passed, Alora has been training her gifts with Aubree during the day and after she walk Sorsha back to her chambers, she train with her mother in combat. Dez and her have became closer by the day as they go to the library to read the Golden Book. Dez now know who Alora is and what she is destined to become. Sorsha and Max are secretly seeing each other, Max told Sorsha that she is his other half, and to keep it secret until her 18th birthday. King Titus and Lord Cletus has been trying to question Jack, but Jack is acting like he has amnesia, instructed by Cassandra. Frustrated by this, Tristan asked Aubree to read him to see if he's acting or for real. The fairy that was attacked was the messenger for Queen of the Fairies, Queen Anik. She had a message for King Titus and Lord Cletus but was attacked while in the process of delivering it. Tristan now knows that Lynia is with child with a dragon, but did not tell his father yet. Aubree and Malik have become quite close in the past weeks, he still has his guard up with her, but he's slowly opening up to her. We will pick up with Aubree getting ready to read Jack in the cells.......

Aubree POV

Tristan asked me to read the asshole that tried to force himself on my niece. I really didn't want to because I might lose my temper with this vamp and kill him. When I reached the cells, he was still chained up by his hands and feet. I stood at the door waiting on King Titus and Tristan to join me in this interrogation. Jack looked up at me while I was standing there waiting, "What are you doing here witch? Leave me, i'll take my punishment, even tho I don't remember what the hell happened". I gave him a bone chilling grin, " We will find out the truth vamp, I don't need your cooperation, I can do whatever the fuck I want to you. I started circling him, " You will realize how much of a mistake it was to attack my niece. I planted my feet firmly in front of him as he stared at me. " If you think you can torture me into talking, it's not going to work bitch! I already told them, I don't remember anything from that fucking week. When I woke up here, I thought it was a fucking dream, but no, its a dam nightmare". I just giggled at his comment, he was quite amusing. I heard heavy footsteps coming toward the cell, I knew it was Titus and Tristan. I slowly bend down to become eye level with Jack, "You are quite amusing vamp, but when I get done with you, you will wish you were back in this nightmare", as I smiled like a little kid at a candy store. He mustered up all his strength and spit in my face, " I hate you know it all witches, I'm not scared of you cunt, now fuck off!!!" I stood there looking at him in disbelief, did this mutherfucker just spit in my goddamn face!! By that time Titus and Tristan was in the cell standing by the door, and looking at the show. I take a rag and wipe my face, then I take the rag and shoved it in his mouth with a devilish grin on my face, " Well I guess you want to do this the hard way". I pointed my index finger to him and his body started pressing against the wall with such force, he started coughing up blood. As my eyes started glowing and my hair started turning snow white I slowly started walking over to him, I knew Titus and Tristan was in the cell, but I didn't care, this fucker is about to pay. When I reached him, I lifted my index finger to his head and touched it. I didn't want to just jump into looking through his memories, I was about to fuck with his mind. I started manipulating his memories, I made the worse nightmare he has ever thought of appear to him. This is the most fun I have had in a very long time, I'm really about to enjoy this. The only thing heard throughout the dungeon was Jack's blood curdling screams echoing.

King Morton's Castle

Lucis was standing at the castle entrance waiting on a message from the spy that he sent to Lord Cletus's castle. As he waited patiently, a beautiful blue bird came in flying at full speed. It circled Lucis a few times then landed on his shoulder. " Hi bubbles what do you have for me"? The bird flapped his wings and stuck its claw out. Lucis see a piece of paper on its claw, he grabs it and began reading it as the bird flew away. "Dammit, I have to tell King Morton about this, he's not going to like this". Lucis rushed to King Morton who was in his chambers getting ready for his son Marius birthday celebration. Marius just came back from training with the trolls, only royalty can train with the trolls, but since the trolls are so violent and angry, not many train. King Morton is trying to make his son more like him, emotionless, powerful, and strong, but Marius doesn't want to become like his father, he just can't wait until he take over Vampire City and make it a more peaceful place by ending the war between all the cities. Marius knows nothing about what his father is planning on doing, because if he knew, he would surely try to stop him. Lucis reaches King Morton chamber and walk in, " You're majesty, I just received a message from our spy" , as he bow. Morton turn toward Lucis, " It's about fucking time Lucis, it's been 4 weeks since we heard anything, well what is it?" "The spy reported that the best time to retrieve Alora is after her birthday. King Titus and his guards are leaving and it will easier to retrieve her. King Morton looked at Lucis with a gleam in his eyes, " This is very good news Lucis, get my son ready, he's going with you when you go to retrieve her". "Another thing your majesty, That vampire Jack is being integrated by Aubree, we need to get him out of there so he can help us get her". Morton stood there for a couple of seconds, " Tell the spy to help him get out of there and tell the spy to come back too, we need to plan this just right".

Tristan's POV

I was standing there watching Aubree do her work on this fucker. I forgot how scary she was when she did her interrogation, but I did enjoy watching her work. I'm so glad she's on our side, she's a very powerful witch, and her gifts are rare. I stood there waiting on an answer from Aubree, Marcel tapped me on the shoulder and signaled for me to step out of the cells. I whisper to my father that I would be right back and went to see what Marcel wanted. "Tristan I hate to disturb you but there is a messenger at the gates that claims to have a message from Queen Anik". I looked at her a little confused, "Marcel are you mistaken, that messenger arrived 4 weeks ago. She's still in the healers chamber recovering from the troll attack"? "Tristan I don't know I just know this messenger has the seal of the queen on her". I stood there thinking, "Fuck", I yelled as it just hit me. "Marcel, I need you to find Malik and Dez now! Tell them to get to the healers chamber and drag that bitch down to the cells and don't let her get away!!" I Turned to my father, " Your Majesty, I need to go to take care of something, I will meet you two back in the study". My father nodded and turned back to what Aubree was doing. I rush to the gates to meet the messenger to see what the fuck is going on. Once I reached the gate, I seen a fairey standing there with a letter in her hand. I walked up to her, " Who are you and what is your business here"? "I am Solara, messenger of Queen Anik, I bring you a message from my queen", as she held up the letter. I opened the gate and grabbed the letter. It was an official letter from Queen Anik, I couldn't believe it. I ran to the cells, that dam Morton, he waited until we were distracted and sent a spy. He must know everything that is going on in the castle and if that's the case we need to re evaluate everything. When I reached the entrance of the cells I seen Dez and Malik standing there looking very serious while they were arguing. I approached them anxiously, " Where the fuck is she?" Malik turns to me surprised, "Tristan, when did you wa...." "Dammit Malik where the fuck is she, she's a fucking spy for King Morton", as I let out a low growl. Both of them looked so shocked, like that low down bastard would stoop so low, we're talking about King Morton, the most ruthless king ever. I felt the energy around me becoming thick, shit. Malik looked at me like he was scared to talk but, his lips slowly parted, "When we reached the healers wing, she was gone. I already told the men to search for her". "ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS!!, as I growled. I turned to Dez, "Dez go find Alora and make sure she's safe, then take her to her mother or Aubree. Then I need you to meet Malik and I in the library". "Malik go and get My father and Aubree and bring them to the library", then I rushed away.

Aubrees POV

I was having so much fun with this vamp messing with his memories. When I finally started looking through his memories to see what was going on, I wasn't surprised, that bitch Cassandra. I see he has been drooling over Alora for a while, he has been having fantasies about marrying her and keeping her hostage. I should erase this fucker memories right now, but I have to wait. I need to talk to Titus and Tristan first, but he's mine to punish and I will make sure of it. As I was having my fun, I felt a hand touch my shoulder, "Aubree, Tristan needs us right away, it's rather important". My eyes and hair returned to normal as I looked at who interrupted me, " It better be important, Malik, I was enjoying myself". Did she just call me by my name, he thought, she must be pissed. "Come on Aubree, you can finish with him later, let's go see what is so important". He grabbed my hand and began leading me out the cells, I immediately pulled my hand away from him, " I can find my way without you touching me vamp. While your running errands, I need you to find Lady Cassandra and Lynia and bring them to the study, tell them King Titus sent for them. Have someone escort Lord Cletus to the study also",I then walked away. I sweared to myself that if Cassandra had something to do with this I would erase her fucking mind, so no I have a promise to keep. That fucking bitch, treat my sister like shit, then she tries to sell my niece, I should wipe all her memories of everything and leave her in the cells. When I reached the door, I took a deep breath, this is going to be a long day. I know I will be blamed by Lord Cleus, but his wife is foul and after today, everyone will know.
