Along The Sidewalk

“Where are we running off too?” Sabrina questions while they both run hand in hand, together on a sidewalk. “To get married.” David casually replies and Sabrina abruptly stops on her tracks. “M-marriage?” She stutters. David turns around and stands facing her. “Yes! And let me tell you that I want four kids. Three girls just like you and a big brother to protect my girls… And he must take my looks of course.” “What?! Marriage? Kids?! Where are all these things suddenly coming from?” “It’s time! A hurricane is about to head our way and before that we must get married.” David emphasizes, moving close to her. “But David we can’t just do it right now… We have to tell my mother and-“ David didn’t give her a chance to complete, he crossed the remaining distance between them and claimed her soft blabbering lips only to put her to a stop. “Another important thing…” He breathes as he held her close. “I love you.” That had Sabrina moving on her toes while her insides were left burning with the flames of desire. ========= SYNOPSIS ========= David is not your average man. First Kiss

"What are you doing here?" Sabrina asks him as soon as they stop inside the kitchen.

"Were you waiting for me by the bridge?" David asks, without breath.

"I-I... I didn't."

"Liar, you just admitted it a while ago."

"I did? No... You might have misheard... I was-" She was speaking, hesitantly when David leaned and closed the distance between them. He kissed her on the lips, it was a peck to be accurate but enough to make her silent. She watched David, backing away with her wide eyes. David had a light and cool smile on his face when he stared into her chocolate eyes.

"This is for lying."

"I didn't-"She suddenly blocks her mouth with her hands when she realized that she was still lying and David chuckles.

"You can lie as much as you want I don't mind." Sabrina's cheeks reddened at his words and she averts her eyes from his face. Sabrina was feeling teary all of a sudden, she started shaking lightly and her lips trembled. David notices the sudden change in her body and becomes concerned.

"Hey, hey what happen?" He holds her face in his hands and moves it towards his. A tear falls down to her cheek and David wipes it away with his thumb immediately. "What's wrong? You can trust me, tell me." He tries his best to comfort her but she doesn't stop shivering and so he hugs her. He keeps her close to him, against his chest and runs his hands through her hair. He shushes her in the most comforting way possible. "You don't need to worry about anything, everything's going to be fine." He kisses her hair.

"It was my first k-kiss." She hiccups.

"I'm sorry?" David says, backing away a little.

"I have never been this close to anyone." Another tear falls down on her cheek and David purses his lips, trying his best not to smile.

It was a relief to David, more than relief. He had never felt this excited before. He wanted to annoy and tease this girl in a lovely way. But again he never felt this way with Katherine, a thought that has been nudging him for long now. Why was he comparing his every moment with her with Katherine? These small moments are no way near like the ones he had shared with Katherine but still, he couldn't stop the thought.

"It might be easy for you to do this, but it was something big for me." Her voice was shaky.

"Hey, can I ask you one thing?" He says, wiping away the fallen tear on her cheek and she nods, looking at him "I want to show you something would you like to come with me this Sunday?"

"I-I don't know, I have to study and..."

"Please? Just this once, I promise you won't regret it." His voice filled with a plea. Sabrina looks at him and thinks before answering.

"Okay..."

"Okay?" She nods at him and he smiles, looking at her. "Okay, it is." He says, moving a strand of hair behind her ear.
