All Bow Before The Magical Villain

ON HIATUS If transmigration fails, try rebirth. In a magical world where power spoke before all else he would be the most powerful of them all and with their bones he would build his throne. Dex Atticus had transmigrated from earth to a magical continent. He lived right, saved millions and became the justified magic emperor. He had been the hero, or that was how he saw himself after all, it was what transmigrators did in the books. But he was betrayed by those he saved and killed by those who wanted his power. And just when he thought that death had come calling, he returned to start over again. And this time, he had a hunting system as a cheat. All magical inheritances would be his, all the glory would be his, all the wealth in the world he would claim and the most outstanding women, he would take. All his enemies would fall on his sword and every creature on the continent would bow before him, the new reigning supreme villain emperor. He would not be the hero they rejected, he would be the villain they loved. When they asked why he was cruel to the good guys, Dex would simply say, "I am allergic to heroes." Taking home a demon

A dashing light of white whirled raced the trees at the speed of light. It would be seen at one point, and then suddenly appear at another the next moment.

Whoosh_

Whoosh, whoosh_

That was the sound that was made when it darted by. Only those with keen eyes and a high level of magic would be able to see the spot of red when it paused before taking off again.

This was in the middle of the black forest, a place that was frequented by only the strongest and even they did so with much carefulness. A thin young man in an old loose blue robe was training in this dangerous place. He had sweat dripping down his body but he did not stop once, and continued going.

His teeth were biting his tongue, drawing blood as he focused all of the energy gathered in his body into his magic core.

The faster he teleported, the more energy he gathered. Dex was determined to break through to level two tonight, he would not stop until he did so.

He had already sent the Tingxun lord a warning after all, and he would have to be powerful enough to make them afraid of him.

He looked at a tree and went running straight at it, without any hesitation. He was intent on learning the art of teleporting through physical objects.

With every hit that his body took, he continued going as if he had landed on a soft pillow and not the rough hard bark of an ancient tree.

Unknown to him, he had attracted the attention of two mythical beasts that lived close to where he was practicing from. For two long weeks, they had kept an eye on him, which in turn kept magical beasts that would have attacked him away.

He hit another tree, and the bones in his arm shattered.

"Ah, aha, ah," he shook his arm. "No stopping, as long as I don't die." he whispered.

The two mythical beasts were sitting at the top of a tall tree, in bird shape.

They both winced when he broke his arm.

"He will give up now." one said.

"I don't think so." the other refuted.

Dex did not disappoint as he kept going, with a determined glimmer in his eyes.

Three hours later, as darkness begin to fall and he accomplished his goal.

Ding!, congratulations, you are now a level two mage.

"Aaaah." Dex bellowed, and he fell down to the ground. He laid on the ground and laughed out loud.

For two weeks he had lived in the forests, cultivating his space magic, hunting and learning astral magic with the guidance of the system. When he was not doing that, he was on hunting missions, practicing his archery, swordsmanship and physical combat.

He was under so much intense training that the time had slipped away from him, days turning into nights and nights into days.

He was not where he wanted to be yet, he was still pretty low on the mage spectrum but he was progressing quickly.

He swallowed a bone setting pill, and his broken hand fixed itself.

While he caught his breath, a little vine crept up on him, slowly approaching his head like a tiny snake slithering without being noticed.

The two mythical beasts noticed the flower demon immediately and they could have warned Dex, but they chose not to. It was not their business, the human was a stranger.

They had watched him kill many magical beasts in two weeks, if a flower demon killed him in turn it was not unnatural, it was the cycle of life.

"Too bad, he was interesting to watch." The female mythical beast said.

"Let's go." The male said.

The two mythical beasts flew away, neither one looking back so they did not notice the smirk on his face as they left.

Of course he had known that they were there, the system had warned him about their presence. He chose not to confront them because they were stronger and they kept the more dangerous magical beasts away from him which made his training and cultivation easier.

Ding! Major hunting mission detected. A flower demon with the intentions to suck your blood had been detected.

1 Kill the flower demon and get the skill of hypnosis.

2 Capture the flower demon and get one astral clone.

3 Contract the flower demon as a familiar and get one bottomless space ring.

All were good options but number three was better for him. A space ring would come in handy for when he looted some things.

"I choose three." he said.

The little flower demon whose hooks were about to sink into Dex's arm froze, held down by an unknown power.

Dex lifted himself up, squatted down and looked at the flower demon. It was a small red flower that looked like a rose. At the moment, it was struggling to release it's vine from the power holding it down. It had four vines and three were trying to pull one out from the ground.

"Little thing." he said and he poked it on the head, touching it's petals.

The petals moved, tilting away from his hands and one vine pointed at Dex, it seemed to be accusing him of something.

"What is it, you don't like being touched?" he asked.

Two leaves beneath the red petals crossed over each other.

Dex laughed and asked, "Are you shy? Don't be, you and I are going to be partners for life now. You are a red rose flower demon, right? You need blood to grow. From now on, I will provide the blood and feed you until you are the strongest flower demon in the universe. The blood of my foes will nourish you."

He pricked his finger and dropped five drops of blood on the flower demon.

Ding! The system has successfully established a contract between you and the flower demon.

Dex watched as the flower demon rose up in the air and entered his chest.

At the point of entry, he remained with a mark of the flower demon, a red rose which looked like a tattoo.

He had never heard about a mage having a demon as a contracted familiar. Demons were abhorred, hated by human kind and the war between humans and demons was one that had been going on for thousands of years.

In his opinion, it was a pointless war because some humans were just as bad as the demons. No, in fact, they were worse than demons, Dex thought.

He received his space ring from the system, put all of his things in it and then he left the forest. It was time for his family to move from this small town, and then he would return to the academy.
