All Bow Before The Magical Villain

ON HIATUS If transmigration fails, try rebirth. In a magical world where power spoke before all else he would be the most powerful of them all and with their bones he would build his throne. Dex Atticus had transmigrated from earth to a magical continent. He lived right, saved millions and became the justified magic emperor. He had been the hero, or that was how he saw himself after all, it was what transmigrators did in the books. But he was betrayed by those he saved and killed by those who wanted his power. And just when he thought that death had come calling, he returned to start over again. And this time, he had a hunting system as a cheat. All magical inheritances would be his, all the glory would be his, all the wealth in the world he would claim and the most outstanding women, he would take. All his enemies would fall on his sword and every creature on the continent would bow before him, the new reigning supreme villain emperor. He would not be the hero they rejected, he would be the villain they loved. When they asked why he was cruel to the good guys, Dex would simply say, "I am allergic to heroes." A persistent flameborn lion

Leaving the Black forest for Dex was a race against the dangerous beasts that dwelled within. With the departure of the mythical beasts, the magical beasts came out of hiding, ready to hunt for prey and the prey on the menu was him.

The weak magical beasts would of course be sitting this race out and only the strong dominant ones came out.

Dex however, was not afraid, he took it as another opportunity to train himself. As it stood, he trusted himself to escape out of a good number of precarious situations, he had accumulated some points and his stats had improved.

He had improved, he was not the same host that the system disdained initially.

You are still pitifully weak and it's time to start running, the system told him.

It still sounded disdainful but he was not bothered about it as he had been originally.

With a sword in hand, Dex took off running, in the direction of the map which the system had provided to him. Between runs, if any magical beast got so close, he simply teleported and laughed as he did it.

Teleportation had limits however, it was only as strong as he was. This included how many times he teleported and the distance he could cover in each teleportation.

Still, Dex was pretty fast, and he increased his speed as he kept going.

Most of the slower beasts gave up when they could not keep up but one, a flameborn lion kept up with him, refusing to give up. It was dark now, in the forest as night had fallen. The pale rays of the moon provided most of the light while critters of the night chirped, screamed or sung in the heart of the forest.

Even in this darkness, it was amazing that the flameborn lion could see quite vividly and keep up with Dex.

Every once in a while when the light fell on it, Dex saw it's crimson coat, glistening majestically in the dark.

When it's paws hit the ground, he heard the strength with which they landed down and crushed the earth.

The flameborn lion was one of the most desired magical beasts for high mages as familiars. It was a regal and fearsome beast, one whose chilling roar was accompanied by flames of wildfire. When angered, or when in battle mode, even it's mane flickered with a living fire. It's paws would burn hot like molten amber.

When a flameborn lion roared, every lesser creature fled in terror and wherever it passed, scorch marks were left on the earth.

In his past life, Dex had killed only three flameborn lions and he was a high mage when he accomplished that feat.

Ding! Major hunting mission detected.

"No, no, no, no, please don't be the lion. Flameborn lions are hard to kill." he prayed in his heart.

The system has detected five Adama guild members in the forest looking for you.

1. [Escape the forest and get two hundred points.]

2. [Hunt the members of the Adama guild an get one astral clone and fifty points.]

3. [Bow before the Adama guild and get fifty points.]

"Give me a new map, I choose number two. You must really want me to get that astral clone because you keep serving it up every time." He made the only logical choice in this situation.

The Adama guild members were looking for him, even if he escaped the forest they would come for him after he left. It was better to kill off a few and reduce that danger to himself.

With time, he would eliminate the rest of that guild slowly.

The system provided new directions and Dex went running in that direction.

The Black forest had a number of streams, ponds and lakes within. Of course, these guys had to be there. Staying near a water source was the preferable choice for many who slept in the forest.

"System if I use the flameborn lion to kill them do I still get the reward?"

As long as it's a hunt, whatever you use counts.

Great, he thought, he could kill two birds with one stone. He teleported to the top of a tree, looked at the flameborn lion and laughed.

"Come on little kitty, come get me." he taunted.

The flameborn lion was infuriated even more and it roared, it raised its big paw and clawed the tree on which Dex was standing.

It's sharp claws sliced the tree directly in half but Dex teleported away before it fell to the ground.

The chase was back on and he led the lion right to the five members of the Adama guild.

They were sitting around a bon fire, trading stories and alcohol.

"If we kill that guy, we will really get six thousand gold coins. How lucky was he to save the holy lady of Tingxun?" he heard one of them saying, slurring over his words.

So they knew about the gold. It was no wonder that the number had gone up from three who were searching for him to five.

However, which idiot came into the Black forest and drunk alcohol? You had to be pretty cocky to behave like this in a place that housed strong magic beasts.

Even the water sources in this forest were dangerous because beasts lived inside.

Anyway, he wanted to finish this pretty quickly and go home.

"Did you hear that?" One of them suddenly asked.

"We have a protective array protecting us, what are you worried about?" Another asked.

Dex nodded, so that's what made them so cocky. They had an array which prevented anything physical from entering.

"System, can I teleport into the array?" he asked.

Array's in this world do not affect space magicians because space magic is almost nonexistent.

Dex smirked and watched the flameborn lion approaching, and preparing to leap at him.

He touched his chest and said, "Little Rose, wake up, it's time to feed."
