Her life had taken a 360 degree turn either for the better or worse. She was now stuck as the personal maid of the dangerous and feared king of the vampires with no idea on how her life would go from here but she would have to survive Excerpt "Where do you think you are going?" She heard him ask. "I thought I was..." She trailed off when she turned to face him but was greeted by the sight of his naked self. Nova quickly looked away as her cheeks turned pink. "You are going to help me bathe, my darling maid." He said getting into the bathing tub filled with water and foam. "W- What?" She turned to look at him and was glad that he was already in the tub and was not standing naked infront of her. "I do not like to repeat my words. You should know that by now." He sighed. "Now come." "But, Mr. Dimitri never mentioned me helping you bathe, Your Highness." "You will be the first and only maid to wash my body, darling, and you should be happy about it." He looked at her with amusement in his dark blue eyes watching as she slowly came to stand before the bathtub he was in. Cover does not belong to me.

Bathing The Vampire King – Part 1

Nova followed closely behind the butler who led her towards the servants quarters after the King had dismissed her minutes ago from the dining hall.

"This will be your room from now on, miss Nova." The butler said to her opening the door which had a bed with a table and chair beside the room, behind the door.

"You will begin with your duties in the early hours of the morning tomorrow, so make sure to rest well."

"Okay, but I do not know how His Highness, the King, likes things to be done around him." She inquired not wanting to get on the bad side of the king by making a mistake. She was not ready to die yet.

"I will be giving you a briefing before your work commences, miss Nova." The butler stated turning his back to leave but stopped when he heard the lady say,

"Please, call me Nova instead. And, thank you." Nova said with all sincerity and watched as the man nodded his head before walking away from the room and out of the quarters.

Closing the door behind her and sitting on the bed in the room, she sighed as everything that happened since last night finally started to sink in and the realization hit her hard.

Nova had lost her Kingdom, her home, her mother and she had no knowledge of if her father had managed to escape the vampire warriors or if he had died as well while wanting to save her life. Little sobs escaped her lips and before she knew it, she was crying her heart out but she had no one comfort her.

After crying for a while, her eyelids started to feel heavy and she gave way to the darkness that now consumed her. Not so long after Nova had fallen asleep, her door creaked open where a tall figure stood and an unfathomable expression crossed his dark blue eyes.

...

Nova had made sure to wake up early in the morning and was now listening as the butler summarized everything she needed to know about the vampire King which would make her work easier to handle.

"That is all, Nova." Said the butler after he was through with explain all required information to the new personal maid of the King.

"Thank you, Mr..." Then, Nova realized she did not know the name of the butler.

"Dimitri." Told the butler named Dimitri to Nova who did not know his name previously.

"You should go now and prepare the tea. His Highness would wake up soon and remember, he likes his tea immediately after he arises from his sleep."

"I understand." Nova bowed slightly at Dimitri and left from there heading to the kitchen which was located not too far from the servants quarters.
