Time Travelers Part 11

Seeing the attitude of these two youngsters left all the Avengers speechless.

After all, they thought the ones who had infiltrated were known criminals.

But seeing these two young strangers, they didn't know what to say.

"What the hell, was it these two brats who infiltrated?" an annoyed Tony said.

After all, he didn't expect it to be these kids who got past his and Jarvis's security system.

"Hi, nice to meet you Avengers. Don't worry, we don't want to cause problems, once my brother finishes looking for what we need, we'll leave right away" Ariel said to them as she greeted them.

The Avengers are speechless at the friendly way the young woman speaks to them.

"Things don't work like that, kid. When you commit a crime like stealing information, you should be punished" Tony said with a very serious tone.

The other members of the Avengers are surprised by Tony's serious tone, since it is very rare to see him like this.

Rhodey looks at Tony and says quietly to Sam:

"He's just embarrassed because some kids got around his supposedly impenetrable security system"

Sam nodded in agreement with what Rhodey said.

Natasha had been staring at these two youngsters, because for some strange reason they seemed very familiar to her.

The young woman smiling at them is vivacious but looks a lot like Elizabeth Braddock (Psylocke).

And the young man, even though she can't see his face because his back is to them, it gives her a sense of closeness.

The same goes for Captain.

Both Captain and Natasha spent most of their free time visiting Genosha and had met with Psylocke on more than one occasion.

That's why they realized that this young woman in front of them looked a lot like Psylocke.

"I understand... brother, looks like we're going to have to fight our way out of here" Ariel said to Jim with a smile.

"Well, it's ok, we're done here so it's time to go" Jim said as he turned to face the Avengers.

When the Avengers see young Jim's face, they are quite shocked.

Especially Natasha and Captain.

Because the young man bears an uncanny resemblance to the current Governor of Genosha.

Alex Wayne.

"How is it possible?" Captain muttered.

<A clone> Natasha thought but quickly dismissed it.

She had heard from Alex's scientist, Maya Hansen, that it is impossible to clone Alex.

"Are you two from Genosha?" Natasha asked seeing the insignia on the young man's shoulder, as she realized it resembled the Genosha flag.

"No..." Ariel answered as she shook her head.

"I think it's time for you to let us go" Jim said to the Avengers.

They do not respond having already made their decision.

"I guess there's no other way" Jim said when he saw that they wouldn't let them go.
