Galactus Part 4

Alex Wayne POV

The Latverian government allowed us to enter their country without resistance due to my threat of war.

"I really don't like you doing this Alex" Reed said.

Reed knew that by making that kind of threat, once this Galactus business was over, many would criticize my actions.

"Reed is right buddy, it will be troublesome for you later on" Ben said.

Shrugging, I say:

"Don't worry too much about it, when the time comes, I'll figure it out"

"Yeah, if anyone messes with Papa, I'll take care of them" Illyana said.

I smile at the motivated Illyana.

"We are already reaching Doom territory, be prepared" Fury said.

While we are talking, Irene comes over and says:

"Doom knows of our arrival and is preparing to attack us"

Everyone is surprised to hear Irene's words.

"How do you know it?" Tony asked.

"I have the ability of precognition" Irene answered with a smile.

"Then let's meet him. Fury, stop the Helicarrier here, we'll go alone" I said.

Fury just nods his head.

Activating my glider, I rise into the air.

Iron Man, Human Torch, Magneto, Polaris, Wanda, Ironheart and Psylocke also accompanied me, after all they were the only ones who could fly on their own.

The others followed us in a quinjet.

Meanwhile, Irene and Domino stayed behind on the Helicarrier taking care of Illyana.

Two minutes after we were flying in the direction of Doctor Doom's castle, we saw an object heading towards us.

It was Doctor Doom on the Silver Surfer's board.

As he approached us, he attacked us with spears that he created.

The others quickly dodged the spears.

I raised my right hand and destroyed the spears with ease.

Stopping a few feet from me, he says:

"You are very persistent, but with my new powers you won't stand a chance against me"

Releasing a powerful wave of Power Cosmic, he pushed everyone back.

I was the only one who destroyed his attack before it affected me.

Seeing that it didn't do me any damage, Doctor Doom approached me to punch me.

Evading his attack, I landed a left hook and sent him flying backwards.

Wanda, Psylocke, Riri and Polaris tied him up with their magical energy whips and threw him to the ground.

The impact produced a crater a few feet in diameter.
