Chapter 7

Quickly dodging the slash of a Beowulf, Akashi quickly aimed a blaster at his head and shot him.

Akashi then saw to Beowulfs coming at him from the front as one came from behind. Taking a step back the Beowulf arm slammed into the ground in front of him.

Akashi then rushed forward as he ran up the Beowulfs arm, shot him in the head and jumped into the air.

He headed towards the other Beowulfs in front of him and used his blasters to kill 4 of them.

Landing on the ground he dodged to his right as he avoided the attack from the Beowulf behind him.

Using the blaster in his left hand he fired 2 shots at the Beowulfs killing them.

Looking at the remaining Beowulfs, he put away his blasters and brought out his swords. The Beowulfs roared as they charged at him.

Dodging the 2 who were ahead of the rest, Akashi quickly dispatched them. He then accelerated toward the rest.

Akashi dodged each of them as they attacked, weaving through their arms before cutting them in half with ease.

Killing the last one, Akashi stopped using his swords and put them away.

'2 weeks are up and I have to be back at work. Training wasn't a waste. Using the rocks here as training weights. However the rock climbing with one arm behind my back was a bit much. ' Akashi thought while remembering the close calls when his grip was slipping.

' Then we have the results of the weapons. Blasters work just as planned. The plasma are able to kill Grimm with just one blast.

Against Grimm with tougher skin, the plasma cut through like a knife through butter.

The sniper was just as useful. Using death stalkers as lab rats was perfect especially with the rail gun. '

* Flashback *

Getting into position Akashi aimed the sniper at the death stalkers below him him.

' There are 7 in this group with one leader. I'll take the other 6 with regular bullets and I'll test the rail gun on the leader. ' Akashi thought.

Taking aim, Akashi shot six bullets at the Death stalkers. The bullets travelled through the air as they went straight through the Death stalkers skull.

' Seems silver is better for Grimm. ' Akashi thought. Silver had the uncanny ability to be very effective against Grimm, being able to shred through their skin very easily.

' Its interesting how that works. Now it's time for the rail gun. ' Akashi thought.

The last death stalker was on very high alert as it looked around. He just saw his friends die right in front of him.

Charging his attack, Akashi aimed at the Death stalker and fired. The lightning accelerates the bullet. The death stalker who was on gaurd couldn't dodge as the bullet went straight through his head.

He stopped moving as he started to fall to the ground and became little black dust.

Akashi got up from his heading spot and started to walk away knowing that his weapons performance was excellent.

* Flashback end *

' All my weapons worked well and they have become easier to use. As fro aura, I can take on most foes with just my aura.

Plus I learned how to shape my aura to make physical objects like knifes, swords e.t.c. ' Akashi thought.

He then brought his hand up to his eye.

'Then there was the fact my semblance awakened. '

* Flashback *

Walking deeper into mount Glenn, Akashi stayed on guard yo find any Grimm he would come across.

' I need more experience in fighting with more than one oppenent. The ones I faced before were weak. Only one was alpha level.

I should find some opponents here. '

Akashi kept walking till he stopped as he felt something touch his aura. Soon enough more than touched his aura and were coming closer to him.

' Well at least that old saying stayed true. Ask and you shall receive. '

Getting put his swords Akashi waited until he jumped back to avoid an attack. The attack from the Grimm broke the ground and created a spider web.

Akashi looked at the Grimm.

' A Griffon. '

Quickly dodging to the left dodging a strike from another Griffon, Akashi quickly rushed at Griffin getting near it in an instant with his speed and cut of its head.

Looking at the rest of the Griffons, Akashi watched as they circled him. Sidestepping to his left to avoid the Griffon who attacked from behind him. He quickly stepped forward to dodge another attack.

Akashi tried to cut the Griffons neck but was meet with the claw of another Griffon. Dodging again he kept trying to find an opening.

Using emperor eye, he managed to predict where the Griffons would go. Finding a pattern he quickly dodged and strikes back, separating their heads for their bodies.

When he finished, Akashi widened his eye for a moment as he saw something. He saw that a Griffon behind him bite into his shoulder and rip out a large chick of it.

Stunned for a moment and worried he quickly took his sword and stabbed upwards behind him.

* Screech. *

He looked at the Griffon and slashed his sword killing it.

' What was that? ' Akashi questioned as he looked at the remaining Griffons circling him.

As he was on guard he saw the Griffon in front of him, rush at him as the one behind him would attack him from behind. He then saw himself dodge to the left only to get attacked by the Griffon on his left.

Quickly forming a plan, Akashi dodged the attacks before counter attacking.

' Right there. ' Akashi thought as he quickly slashed through the Grimm killing them.

He say the last ones remaining. He looked at them before rushing in faster than what they can see and killed them.

* Flashback end *

'Testing the capabilities my semblance is connected to my eyes. I can observe people and the world around me. I can look 360 degrees and the range I have is 100 meters.

I can also see the weak points in my oppenent. I can use that to kill them easier.

The last one allows me to glimpse into the future for a few seconds. Counting I can see into the future for about 6 seconds.

Extremely useful. I'll just call my semblance Emperor eye. Using aura just enhances its capabilities since I can still use it even when I'm not using aura. '

Walking out of Mt Glenn, Akashi headed to an airship and bought a ticket for Mistral.

' My training week was a success. My weapons work just the way i want them to and I awakened my semblance. Though it can be improved. I need to train more on it.

Human opponents are next on the list. Before that though I'll spend time with the old man.'

Akashi got off the airship as he went to the shop.

The familiar sound of the bell ringing was soothing to Akashi.

" Wlecome. How can I help you... " The old man said before he trailed off as he looked at Akashi.

" Hey old man. I'm back. "

" Sigh good to see you brat. Now go back but your stuff away and come help me. We got some orders to complete. "

" Yes sir. "

The chapter focuses on how well the weapons work and how Akashi uses them.

As for Akashis semblance, I think just sticking with emperor eye is best. I gave it some upgrades.

For the fact it can find the opponents weakness, I got inspiration from king bradley ultimate eye. Akashi can see the weak points in his opponent and exploit them.

The biggest upgrade was being able to see into the future. Right now he can see about 6 seconds into the future.
