CHAPTER 110

　　While Daniel went to talk with the men about the horse business, Monster was helping Cassandra by showing her the way around the safe house. She told him thank you but asked if he knew if there was anything to eat as they had not eaten in a while. Monster took her to the kitchen and even cooked her a meal that was better than she could have done herself.

　　“Monster, where did you learn to cook?” Asked Cassandra.

　　“My mama would let us cook with her when we were younger because she said we might have to take care of ourselves for a time.” Said Monster.

　　Cassandra and Monster talked and got to know each other while she was eating when Daniel came in and asked if she wanted to lie down.

　　“Daniel, you must taste this. It is wonderful.” Said Cassandra.

　　As Daniel tasted the meal on his plate even, he was impressed.

　　“Monster, it tastes wonderful. Thank you for the food.” Said Daniel.
