28. The exams.

Flipping over my paper I knew instantly I could answer all of these questions no problem. All I do is fucking read, so I have all this shit memorized.

I quickly answer the questions on all 3 pages and flip my quiz over waiting for the tenth question.

Looking around I start to memorize the chakra of important characters, Gaara, Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, I even spot Karin pretty close to me. She seems to be looking at me every so often in a daze.

That's curious, I wonder what she could be looking.....that's when I remember she is a chakra sensor.

My chakra looks like a blinding fucking sun compared to the rest of them. Naruto and Gaara have huge chakra reserves as well except they both have a dark and malicious feel.

Hmm, I control my chakra a bit to wrap around the girl and she let's out a pleased sigh and a shiver of delight.

Half an hour later the exam ends. "Alrighr Maggots time for the tenth question, however you have a choice to make. You can choose to take the tenth question or not. If you take it and fail however you will be forbidden from taking the chuunin exams ever again and be stuck as genin." Ibiki says.

"That's Bullshit you can't do that!" Someone shouts.

Ibiki just laughs. "As proctor for this exam, I assure you I can. Now everyone who doesnt want to answer the last question raise your hands. If you leave you are free to participate in the next exams."

Just like that numerous hands shoot into the air and people are dismissed. If one person quits the entire team has to go.

I kind just want to fuck with people and raise my hand but I dont.

Finally Naruto stands up and starts shouting about being Hokage and not letting some dumb question ruin his dreams.

Man that kid is short, I feel like I'm just a bit smaller than him.

"Well said, to all those who remained behind, you pass!" Ibiki says.

I ignore the rest until a hot purple haired beauty smashed through the window.

Oof gotta love miniskirts and see through mesh.

"Wow Ibiki 72 people left? You must be losing your touch." The woman says.

This would be Anko Mitarashi the snake mistress of Konoha, Orocimarus former student.

"There is some good potential here." Ibiki says with a shrug. "By the way you are early."

"Don't worry I'll cut down atleast half of the teams." She says with a grin. "Now everyone follow me to training ground 42." She says jumping out the window.

I quickly follow behind along with the others before coming to a large forested area with a massive fence.

"Before we begin I need you all to sign waivers stating that if you die, then konoha isn't responsible." Anko says pulling out papers and passing them around.

"And if we dont?" Some idiot asks.

"Then you dont get to take the exam." She tells him.

Then goes on to explain our mission.

"Each of you will be given a scroll of heaven or earth, your goal is to get both of them and meet at the tower in the middle of the forest, you have 5 days." Anko says.

"But what about food?!" A fat boy I recognize as Choji asks.

"Its a survival scenario find your own." Anko says before we are led to a tent and grab a scroll then each team is led to a new area to enter the forest.

I do a quick pulse of chakra to sense those around me before sending off animal to watch after Karin.

Meanwhile I lock onto a specific team and rush in that direction.

The trees around here are actually cut so that tree hopping as actually useable. I knew they fucking maintained the trees for travel!

It doesnt take long for us to find the team i was looking for.

"Come out i can sense you!"

I hadn't hid my chakra much so indeed they could.

Hopping down from the tree, i see my first target.

Gray hair, Glasses, A smirk on his face.

That is until Deva raises his hand.

Kabuto had a look of panic on his face as he was ripped off the ground and dragged through the air right into the waiting hands of Deva.

Black threads burst out of the paths hand before spearing into his body and wrapping up his limbs.

The push and pull of the Deva path paralyzes the body so you can't move.

Kabuto let's out a scream of pain which is quickly cut off as a large pulsing knot is ripped from his chest.

Before his teammate can respond two golden gate open firing black chakra rods right through thier head.

I place my hand on the back of the dead kabuto and yank out the soul absorbing the information. Then toss his body into the gate.

I do the same for both genin following him and grab thier scroll.

Deva tips out the hearts as they are still usable for the Jiongu. As for the bodies, useless as I need an intact body to make a path.

"A heaven scroll, 2 spare hearts and a body fit for a path. I'm liking this world more and more." I smile before hopping up into the trees ignoring the weird noises coming from inside Deva as he converts the new hearts.

Before racing off in a differnt direction.

Right towards the massive spike of malicious chakra. I have a couple of deals I want to make with a certain snake.

He has alot of useful things I can trade for.

Sure enough I arrive just on time to see him bite Sasuke.

"That's kind of gay man." I say as all eyes turn to me. Sakura quickly takes this chance to flee with her teamates.

"Who are you?" The pale skinned person says looking at me.

"Someone interested in trading information." I offer.

"Oh? What makes you think you have any information i want? Huhuhu." He says with a creepy chuckle.

"Information on the Rinnegan and its abilities and even where to find it." I say making him freeze for a moment before a hungry look takes over.
