24. Supplies, Base.

After my relaxing time in the hot spring, I finished dressing before scanning the house. There were quite a few workers cleaning up and repairing the damage done. Wonder what they think about the blood smears everywhere.

'I told them that some idiots broke into my house and tried to rob me.' Valerie's voice sounds in my head.

'Huh? Telepathic communication?' I think in shock.

'It's due to the bond. You can close it off as well however you were just thinking too loud so I heard everything.' Valerie explains.

'Well this is useful I suppose. Anyway I need to go and meet Hephaestus as I need some materials for my new project. Do you want to come along?'I ask.

'No I need to stay here and tell the workers what I want done. You can go ahead.' She says.

I just shrug before hopping out one of the windows and heading for Hephaestus's workshop.

Since I usually show up with Valerie some of the higher ups in the family know me. I also am pretty close to Hephaestus and she personally deals with me so i can just walk in.

However its rude not to knock.

Luckily the red headed blacksmith is here.

"Hello Ryan."

"Good afternoon Hephaestus, how are you today." I ask.

"Good, I take it you are here to order some items?" She asks.

"Quick as always." I nod taking out a list I had prepared beforehand. I planned on creating quite a bit of lab equipment and electronics so I needed some of the more rare materials.

"Glass, Crystal, Gold, Silver, Obsidian, Copper, Steel, Titanium, Tungsten, Rubber, Lime, Sand..." She read of the massive list of materials I required. "You know this is going to take me quite a while to put together, I'll also have to purchase all of these plants and seeds from some other familia. Mind explaining what you need these all for?" She asks curiously.

"I'm going to be building my own personal lab and workshop, I also need the plants and seeds to make my own medicines. I figured I could start a large garden of my own and help eliminate some of the costs." Not minding if she knew. We had become rather close over the past couple of months. "I also need to make some of my own tools as I have a few projects I'm interested in."

Her eyes light up as I mention projects. "Something interesting?" She asks.

"More or less." I smirk as she fidgets.

"Any hints?" She asks hopefully.

"Humanoid weapons, imagine something like samehada except in human form." I tease.

Hephaestus looks like she will explode with curiosity. She hasn't come any closer to making a sentient weapon at all and it drives her absolutely insane.

"No fair." So she resorts to pouting like a child which makes me laugh.

"So I can expect the delivery in a couple of days?" I ask changing the subject.

"More or less, you need alot of materials." Hephaestus sighs. "It's not often someone comes around asking for literal tons of materials. Even I don't have that much steel stocked up lying around."

"Understandable. I'm not in too much of a rush so you don't have to hurry." I did come in short notice. I have some materials in the gate I can use for the time being and start building.

I also need to look into some other stuff.

"Anyway thank you for the help. If you want when I have everything made I'll let you come and take a look. I have quite a few projects you might be interested in." I tell the goddess who perks up.

"I would like that." She agrees happily.

"Alright well I've got to go, need to make some preparations." I say hopping off the couch.

"Alright I'll have Valerie pick up the materials you ordered when they arrive. Where is she by the way?" Hephaestus asks curiously.

"The mansion is in need of some repairs so she has workers there today. She stayed behind to watch over them." I explain as she just nods.

A little bit more small talk and then I head back home slipping back inside the house.

"I guess it's time to take a look at that and see how it looks." I focus on my eyes which suddenly pulse before my body is sucked inside a vortex.

My feet land on some cold white stone. This would be the ability of the mangekyou sharingan, kamui. My own private dimension.

Looking around there isn't much, just some white stone floor that stretch on seemingly forever, the sky looks looks like a simple blue sky. No clouds no sun yet it isn't dark.

I look around at the clean white stone floor.

"Mm this needs to be changed a bit." I would some chakra in my chest and flip through hand signs. "Earth Style: Muddy Tsunami!"

A wave of brown mud spews forth from my mouth covering the ground. Over and over again I repeat the jutsu covering large parts of the land in chakra rich mud.

The area is about the size of Orario before I stop spewing mud. "Really sucks getting dirt in your mouth." I say spitting out some left over mud.

I flip through some more hand signs before slapping my hands on the ground. "Wood Style: Four Pillar House jutsu."

Massive chunks of wood spring up from the mud before clacking together to form a massive mansion like building. It all depends on the imagination of the user on what kind of building is created. As for wood style, you just need lots of water, earth and life force to make wood. The water and earth were covered with the mud on the ground as for life force. I'm not lacking that.

A quick whirl of the air and Deva and Animal are beside me. I grab some items from the gate before getting to work on creating items for the house. It's just a bare bones house at the moment, its missing things like running water, pipes, toilets, a nice hot spring in the back.
