Agust, An Alpha's Lycan King [BL]

[WARNING: MATURE CONTENT] "Forgive me, my soul," he said, knowing it was probably the last time he would see the love of his life. *** Simply put, King Agust was the devil in plain clothes. A raging lycan with an unwavering desire to wipe out werewolves, he was the ultimate danger to a race whose only mistake, was bearing the same blood as that of his father. Broken and damaged by his father, a werewolf alpha, Agust hated wolves with all he had and didn't have. To him, they were pathetic beings that needed to be snuffed out, and like a mad king, he made their lives so difficult the only option the wolves had left, was to hide. So when he met Park, one of the strongest werewolf alphas, who didn't take shit from no one, hated him, and who was determined to protect the werewolf race, Agust knew he found his match. What he didn't expect, was for the alpha who hated him so much, to be his mate, and reject him on the same day they met. As if that wasn't bad enough, when his lycans attacked Park's pack, Agust sentenced them to mass murder, an action that triggered a revolution. But strangely, the only thing Agust cared for, was the one man who made him weak in the knees. Alpha Park. Would Agust win both wars?

Are You Really My Destiny… Or Is It A Bet?

"Agust?"

"Agust, are you there?"

"What do I do? Perhaps I should go back?" Alpha Park asked himself as he looked around.

"Ming Xiao Zhu?" he called, but there was no response, however, he noticed there weren't any echoes this time. So, he tried one last time.

"Xiao Xiao… could you please come for me?" Alpha Park called out.

"My beautiful Jiminie," a familiar thick velvety voice said from the shadows. He sounded different, way too different from how he had sounded earlier on, and for a moment, Alpha Park wondered if this was another game for the dark King.

"Where are you? You left me. You left me alone, in the dark. You disappeared in the dark hallways. You didn't come like you promised. You said you w—" Alpha Park ranted as he tried to seek out the dark King.

He had a lot to say to the man and give him a piece of his mind, especially since he was messed up by the contact exhaust. Well, if it helped, then Alpha Park at least knew how to stop the echoes.

All he had to do was call out to Ming Xiao Zhu, but was that supposed to be comforting or scary?

"Hey, hey. I'm here, my soul, alright? I'm here, baby, no one's going to hurt you, my beautiful, not as long as I live. And I don't plan on dying soon, my soul," King Agust said as he rushed to hug the unexpecting Alpha, resulting in the Alpha releasing a shriek.

However, the feeling of King Agust's arms around him was comforting that Alpha Park subconsciously leaned in, breathing the dark King's woody scent.

"I wasn't scared. You didn't have to come," Alpha Park said, not letting go of the King he was latched onto. He didn't want to let go, and it seemed like at that moment the Alpha forgot that he was the deadly King's captive and nothing more.

"I know. You should not be scared, my soul. I'll always show up for you, alright?" King Agust said as he carefully pulled himself from the hug, to look at the beautiful man standing before him in the darkness.

The King was used to this darkness, so he wasn't worried about anything. Besides, he was a Lycan and had super abilities, and the sight that came with that, was enough to let him see more than anyone could.

"Even in the dark, you're still the prettiest man in the room, my beautiful," King Agust said as he kissed his mate's cheek.

He liked having Park this close and it calmed him and his Lycan. It was a different feeling, a fulfillment gone to the point that if he could, he would stay in this moment with his mate, forever.

"I smell blood," Alpha Park said, once he came out of his shock.

"Oh, that? Don't worry about it. I just had a few altercations outside. I heal pretty fast," King Agust said with a deep chuckle as he hugged his mate once again.

It was almost like he was scared of losing the mate he had forced to be here.

He was worried about something and Park could sense it too. However, he knew he couldn't initiate that discussion because then he would come off as caring or snoopy; something that he wasn't sure the barbarian before him would appreciate.

"I'm not worried. I'm hungry, and you said you'd feed me," Alpha Park said, taking advantage of the moment. He had tried to think about how to get out of this castle, but he realized that there was no getting out unless the deadly King permitted him.

As it was, King Agust wasn't in the mood to let his new toy out of his sight. Alpha Park was planning on winning his favor and finding a way out because otherwise, he would go crazy from being in the same space as the barbaric man.

"Jiminie," King Agust said softly like the name was so delicate he was scared of breaking it.

"What now? It's not like I want to leave. And you won't let me even if I want to," the Alpha ranted, making the King let out a chuckle once again. However, in that chuckle, Alpha Park heard something he hadn't thought possible of the dark King.

He heard him whimper in pain.

"I'll cast a light spell in the castle. But what you might see, will not be pretty. Just stay by my side, and trust me. Can you do that?" King Agust said in a strained voice and the Alpha stared at him in confusion.

Of course, he couldn't quite see the King, but the King could see his confused face.

Even then, he still found the Alpha a pretty little thing for him to protect and love.

"You think of me like a fragile Alpha in need of protection. Need I remind you that before you kidnapped me, I was the strongest werewolf Alpha in the realm and that I've gone to battles and won them all?" Alpha Park asked proudly as he had just regained his sense of identity.

It was amusing to the King, though this time, instead of saying something mean, King Agust just stared in silence as he waited for an answer from the beautiful man before him.

He didn't want to scare him, and if he could, King Agust could have teleported to save the Alpha from the horrors that were waiting. However, he couldn't, not in his current condition.

"Jiminie—"

"Fine. I'll trust you. It's not like I have anyone to trust in this dark place anyway," Alpha Park said, and the King laughed lightly, before he entwined his hands with that of the Alpha, making sure that his grip was tight enough not to let the Alpha go, but gentle enough to not hurt him.

He didn't want to hurt his beautiful man and he was going to be at his best this morning.

The only question being… Was it still morning?

"Forgive me, my soul," King Agust said when he cast a lighting spell and the once cold and dark castle lit up, the candles made it look pretty for a moment until Alpha Park saw what he hadn't expected.

"What?" Alpha Park asked, the confusion on his face turning to worry and back to confusion. It was almost like he was experiencing a thousand emotions at the same time, with fear, and worry topping the list.

"Like I said, I hope you forgive me for this. I could have created a portal, and not made your evening terrible. Still, as you can see, I'm not exactly in a position to do that," Alpha Agust said as he pointed at himself, bringing the Alpha's attention to the invincible King.

However, what he was seeing was different.

The entire palace was filled with dead bodies, and for a moment the Alpha wondered if the whole time he was struggling to find a way out, he was stepping on bodies. Surely, he could have felt it, right?

Well, he could have, if the King hadn't made sure to make a bear path each time he heard his mate's footsteps. It was something he had done not to freak the already freaked-out Alpha.

But now that there were lights, there was no point in hiding the truth anymore.

As Alpha Park took in the horrible sight before him, he wasn't sure if he needed to be happy or sad. There were dead bodies sprawled all over. He could easily count five hundred dead bodies, most of which were rotting or already rotten.

There were fresh bodies though, and they made it all creepy.

Expectedly, the Alpha froze.

"What happened here?" Alpha Park asked as he kept his focus on the King. Perhaps there was an easier way out of this.

Surely, there was no way that this King lived in this place with rotting bodies and wasn't even the least bit bothered. Maybe he was taking his darkness a little too seriously. Or did he need salvation?

Goodness, this was even beyond salvation and the Alpha felt sick.

"Hop on my back, my beautiful. I'll carry you to our table. I'm sorry it took an entire day to find a nice place for me and you to sit," the King said and the Alpha wasn't sure if that was a good idea.

My dear sweet heart
