The knights became faster and stronger. Alexander was being pushed back.

As they fought, Alexander memorized every symbol engraved on the knight's armor, sword, and the light dome.

The fight continued until they almost returned to the village.

Leonel recovered and started casting spells again. He finally saw hope in defeating Alexander. Unfortunately, his hopes didn't last long.

Alexander completely understood the space distortion caused by the swords and aimed his own sword at it.

The knight watched in disbelief as Alexander's swords clashed with his sword instantly breaking it. The swords weren't made to clash, slash or block anything at all. It relied solely on the runes engraved on it.

The knight became useless and defenseless.

Alexander cut him in half a few times but it didn't do anything as always. Then he rushed to the others. After that, the knights didn't last more than a few seconds and Alexander buried them into the ground to stop them from running.

He punched Leonel in the stomach destroying a few of his internal organs and he fainted.

Seven minutes later...

The knights shivered in despair as the number of lives under them decreased drastically.

"Stop! If you kill us the church will send a whole execution squad after you!"

Alexander didn't stop and four minutes later, he killed the first knight.

"So little exp..." Alexander was disappointed by the amount.

One second after the armor stopped working, the knight was decapitated.

He was about to kill another knight when he heard a scream. It came from the village. He still had unfinished business there so he rushed there.

Arriving at the village, he saw all the houses with their doors open but he couldn't see anyone outside.

Entering one of the houses, he saw corpses on the ground with blood spilled everywhere. He touched the blood and it was still hot. Alexander stared at the corpses with a complex gaze.

Then he heard another scream. He rushed outside towards the noise. In the center of the village, there was a man with black hair and red eyes biting the neck of a girl. Seeing Alexander, the man stopped and threw the girl's body to the side.

It was the girl who stopped him from killing her father.

"I don't know who you are but I have to thank you... Thanks to you, those bugs left and I could recover in peace"

"Where is that girl's father?"

"Who?... Ah! That guy... He was a true scum, he tried to run away leaving his daughter behind. But of course, I didn't let him. He is dead somewhere around there" He said while pointing behind him.

"I see..." Alexander looked at the girl's body while thinking.

"My name is Vladimir Kaizer, the first and only prince of the vampire kingdom. May I know your name?"

"...Alexander" He said without taking his eyes off the girl.

"Was she someone important to you?"

"No"

"I can revive her if you want" Kaizer smiled waiting for an answer.

"You can revive people?"

"I'm a vampire, I can turn her since she just died"

"Show me. I want to see it"

"Hahaha! Sure... Friend"

He approached the girl's body and made a cut on his wrist. Blood fell on the month of the dead girl.

A few seconds later, her fingers started moving and she opened her eyes. She saw Kaizer and Alexander staring at her.

"M-my father?" Her voice was weak and frail.

"He's dead, I killed him, remember?"

She wanted to cry but was too afraid of the two monsters staring at her.

"See? She's alive and well"

Alexander looked at her and nodded.

"I'll return to the vampire kingdom now. Why don't you go with me?"

Alexander didn't have any plans right now but he wouldn't just follow a stranger somewhere he didn't know anything about.

"It's a pity, but I already activated the portal. Everything alive in the village will be teleported in a few seconds"

Alexander could see the village being surrounded by a dome made of blood.

'It seems that's the portal'

He looked at Kaizer with hostility. He clearly knew he wouldn't follow him willingly.

"Hey, don't be mad. I wasted a lot of blood to make it this big. I was afraid you could escape if it was too small"

Alexander indeed wasn't fast enough to get out and he couldn't leave the girl with him, so he just waited.

"I hope you don't regret this later" Alexander's white eyes stared intently at Kaizer.

Kaizer smiled and said... "Don't worry, I won't"

The dome closed and three seconds later, Kaizer, Alexander, and the girl disappeared from the village.

In the vampire kingdom, inside the royal castle.

Elizabeth was wearing servant clothes as a disguise while infiltrating the castle.

"I entered the treasure room"

A voice sounded from her earpiece.

("Good, you have around five minutes to steal it before the guards suspect something")

"Don't worry, I'll use way less time than that"

Elizabeth searched the treasure room until she found what she was looking for.

"Is this the artifact?"

("Yes, now get out of there. The moment you removed it, the soldiers have been alerted")

Elizabeth quickly ran out and activated her skill becoming invisible.

After passing through all the running guards, she went to the kitchen wearing her disguise again.

("Okay, now go to the other side and deliver it to the other alliance members")

"Why? I thought they would only come later"

("That you will need to ask the leader, he didn't tell me anything either. Maybe something happened, stay alert")

"Yes mom~" She said while making fun of Jennifer.
