Prologue

"Dong Dong Dong '' The bells on top of the Tower of Obsylen rang ceaselessly, warning the Animakins at the foothills of the Western Peaks of the oncoming danger.

Mayhem had erupted in the streets of Duwexxa. Nobles and peasants alike scrambled to escape the western valleys desperately to reach the neighbouring port city of Lonfalace. 

Duwexxa was a metropolis separated from the main lands by the Ornathian seas and was known for its soaring modern skyscrapers and ancient buildings harkening back centuries. It had been the bustling economic hub of tourism and trade in the Red Nations, some even referring to it fondly as the second capital.

The former graceful beauty of the city, once surrounded by the lush red mist valleys and towering Western Peaks, was now in violent upheaval. Mothers clutched infants tightly as families abandoned their homes without a backward glance. The streets boiled with activity as the populace stampeded toward their only hope of salvation - towards the eastern kingdom of Haremosa that was nestled closest to the heart of the world.

The journey would be treacherous, as the vast Red Nations spanned over ten thousand kilometers. With dwellings scattered across mighty mountain ranges, any road transportation would take weeks to traverse. Panic consumed the West as its denizens eyed the encroaching shadow, their doom near. 

The ships overflowed, leaving countless Animas abandoned on the docks. Riots wracked the once peaceful streets. Explosions and shouts filled the air as animas looted and ravaged, destroying historic structures that had withstood the test of time for millennia in their desperate bid for escape.

The Rot's cycle of annihilation had commenced once more. Its sole goal was to devour all lyf, in the land of Zoonya. In its wake, nothing was safe. 

News of the Rot's resurgence had spread like wildfire across the continents.

Hearing the dire news, the mighty King Rabagar of Haremosa had dispatched his daughters with the Valiant Blades as escort. This elite faction of 7 swordsmen were the finest warriors in his kingdom. Their urgent mission- to reach the Kingdom of Koere at the heart of the world.
