Only when both Xiao Lingxi and Wen told her about that Vashu already came back on second day after his comprehension did she grasp the situation.

Xue Lan's smug expression was gone and now had an incredulous expression, feeling that she lost she felt sad but she will held her part of deal.

" What you want to do " Xue Lan asked

" No need to be in a hurry, you will see in time" Vashu said

It's not like he doesn't want to ask her now rather they don't have that much time as today is the day for Banquet in welcoming for New Chief and many major clans will be coming to 'congraulate' him.

They moved around and found a giant figure, it's Xia Yuanba, it's hard to not notice him due to his big size just as they saw him he also saw them and came runnings towards them creating mini earthquakes with each step.

Seeing him running towards him like a razing bulldozer Vashu side stepped and Xia Yuanba figure crashed to people who was behind Vashu. Vashu joined hands and prayed for those 'poor souls' to rest in peace.

[ Freya:- Oi oi they are not dead

Vashu:- But after becoming paste they can't be considered alive either

Freya:- Hahahaha]

" Senior brother Xia Yuanba please get up " those poor sou*ahem* disciples under him agonized in pain as they begged him to get up.

Xia Yuanba got up and scratched his head in embarrassment and apologized.

" I am sorry Junior brothers "

They wanted to retort in his half as$ apology but held in after all he was their senior brother and they have to give him some face.

Xia Yuanba then turned towards Vashu and asked " Brother in Law why did you dodge me"

" Oh my foot just slipped" Vashu said with a straight face

Xia Yuanba being naive easily accepted his excuse and attempted to attac*ahem* hug him again only to be stopped by Vashu's voice.

" Oh let me introduce to them, the one with silver hair is Xue Lan and black hair beauty is Wen, they are my friends which I made when I arrived at City" Vashu said pointing at both Xue Lan and Wen.

" He is Xia Yuanba, my childhood friend" seeing him being introduced he stopped his attempt to hug him and greeted them politely

Wen and Xue Lan greeted him back. Seeing that he dodged the bullet Vashu sighed in relief he didn't want to become meat pulp by his hug.

" Ah big Sister Lingxi is also here but what are you all doing here " Xia Yuanba asked confused .

"We came to join today's Banquet and we also joined New Moon Profound Palace a week before " Vashu said.

Hearing this Xia Yuanba is surprised, wasn't he a cripple a few months back then how come he can join even if he get his Profound Veins repaired which according to him is impossible and starts cultivation anew then still their requirement to accept a disciple is high according to him, he then tried to sense his realm but failed to do so which means only two thing either Vashu's cultivation is high or he is still a cripple and he believed the latter.

" Brother in Law aren't you a cripple so how can you join " Xia Yuanba asked being confused.

Hearing him both Xue Lan and Wen got angry, they were surprised that Vashu was a cripple and seeing Vashu not correcting him means it was true but saying him cripple on Vashu's face they thought he was insulting him thus got angry.

In these past few days they got to know each other better, they might joke and taunt each other and can sometimes say stupid and mean things to each other but that never meant they will allow others to say something mean to him.

'Only we are allowed to say mean things to him' Wen and Xue Lan inwardly thought.

Vashu:- Why are you laughing

Freya:- Nothing I am just proud you made such good friends

Vashu:- ?????]

Vashu on the other hand wasn't slightest bothered by him he knew Xia Yuanba is like a child who will say anything what's on his mind, he knew Xia Yuanba wasn't insulting him but was genuinely curious how he joined New Profound Palace, Xiao Lingxi also knew about this thus didn't say anything otherwise if it were anyone else she would slap him the instant he said those words.

" Brother Yuanba you should see how you talk otherwise someday you might get in trouble" Xiao Lingxi reprimanded him.

Vashu explained about him to both Wen and Xue Lan who were flared up to pounce on Xia Yuanba on any moment, after listening Vashu they calmed down.

"But why he is calling you Brother in Law" Xue Lan asked suspiciously.

Wen also stared at him waiting for his answer.

Vashu trusted them and have no reason for telling them lie thus told them truth but only gave them short summary of few events.

"Oh so that's why" they nodded in understanding.

" Then let me be your guide " Xia Yuanba said enthusiastically, he was more than happy to show them around.

They kept looking around at all these architectures and other things like curious kids. Some disciples would greet Xia Yuanba as he was in Class 1 which is only reserved for genius, so he was considered their senior.

" Will you also attend Banquet at evening" Vashu asked as they strolled

" No I can't, only some people are qualified to attend" Xia Yuanba said embarrassedly

" Then want to join? " Vashu asked.

" Eh? I can join ?" Xia Yuanba asked he also wanted to attend the banquet but due to his cultivation he was not qualified.

" Yeah why not " Vashu said, for him it was not big of a deal but for Xia Yuanba it was his dream to enter and see those cultivators fight.

"Thank you" Xia Yuanba said sincerely to Vashu.
