Enough is enough

A press conference was held for the plagiarism lawsuit between Tai Chen Group and Mo Jie International.

The press conference will be broadcasted live on television, and online platforms. Reporters from all News Media companies will be on the scene as well.

Feng Jiu sat in front of her laptop, anxiously waiting for the press conference's live stream to start.

Not knowing what would happen next, Feng Jiu was worried about Dong Hua but she could only hope for the best. 

She shiveringly blamed herself for being dumb and losing the video, which would have saved the company.

The press conference started. 

Miao Luo walked into the room with a disdainful look.

Dong Hua, on the other hand, looks far too calm.

The atmosphere in the conference room was extremely tense. It was quite nerve-racking, truth be told. 

Dong Hua's unfeeling voice broke through the air, "Before the press conference starts, I would like to invite everyone to enjoy this short video".

Dong Hua then signals Chong Lin, his assistant, and right-hand man, to play the video on the big screen.

Everyone turned to look at Miao Luo. She was speechless.

Miao Luo lowered her head and tried to escape the scene to avoid embarrassment but it was too late as the reporters swarmed to her, blocking her from leaving. 

Feng Jiu was overwhelmed with shock. 

She unconsciously bit her fingernails and thought to herself, "How did my video ended up there? Who leaked the video? Was it the person who picked up my phone? Who was it and why?"

Her mind was flooded with these questions and she was determined to find out the truth.

The next day at work, gossips and rumors were spreading all over the company.

Everyone was speculating about how Dong Hua managed to get the video evidence against Mo Jie International. 

Feng Jiu couldn't focus on her work.

She texted Lian Song, asking him if he has any information regarding the video but he didn't have any clue as well.

Lian Song mentions that there was a celebration party being held tonight, for all the senior management teams so he might be able to get something out from it.

At the celebration party, Dong Hua proposes a toast to all the employees, thanking them for their hard work towards the company during these tough times. 

Before Dong Hua ended his speech, he specially thanked one person for sending him the video, thus saving the company.

Upon the discovery that Dong Hua was referring to Ji Heng, Lian Song pulled back abruptly with shocked eyes. 

The thought of Ji Heng stealing Feng Jiu's credit once again, infuriated Lian Song. 

He glared furiously at Ji Heng before leaving the room to call Feng Jiu. 

"Ji Heng was the one who stole your video, Dong Hua specially thanked her at the party for saving the company. I can't believe she did that! Do you think I should confront Ji Heng and let Dong Hua knows the truth?"  Lian Song furiously said. 

"Did I offend Ji Heng? Why is she always against me? How could she do this?! Don't worry about it Lian Song, I will handle it myself. Thank you for letting me know. I will keep you updated." Feng Jiu replied with a sigh.

Feng Jiu threw herself down onto the bed and covered her face with both hands, furious at what Ji Heng did.

She tossed and turned in bed, thinking about ways to confront Ji Heng. 

Feng Jiu usually avoids confrontation because of her ability to relate to most people and see a situation from another person's point of view.

But this time, Feng Jiu concluded that she wouldn't let Ji Heng off.
