Ever thought of what happens after a person dies? Well, mostly no. Chase Brown also never figured himself dead or ever thought about what would happen after he die. After he was involved in a terrible car accident, Chase later woke up paralysed in a hospital to his mom praying for his survival. However, a few minutes later he died. A few seconds after he died Chase ascended into a new world, a world very different from the typical world. Everything in this world is bizarre. Chase eventually learns that he just died and his ghost ascended into the world of the dead where only free ghosts dwell there. The ghosts that don't ascend here are trapped between the world of the living and the world of the dead. Chase has to cope in the bizarre world amongst the other free ghosts. He finds it hard as he misses his old life. Every day is a difficult day for him as he learns the scary and thought-provoking facts about ghosts.

Chapter 40. THE TRAINING

Chase and his two friends joined Bennet at the field. Bennet was wearing a pair of red sports shorts and a red t-shirt that bore a ghost devil's drawing at the front and an inverted cross at the back.

"Come on, guys. Loosen up." Bennet said and started jogging. Chase and the friends joined him and started jogging.

"I didn't mean that." Bennet said and stopped jogging. The free ghosts stopped too and shot questioning glances at him.

"I meant to loosen up by changing into those sports wears." Bennet said pointing at some clothes that were placed on a bench at the side of the field.

"You can't train in that suit, Chase Brown. You all need to change. Come on, do it fast." Bennet added and the three free ghosts ran over to the bench, grabbed their games clothes and changed then went back to Bennet.

"Good work, free ghosts. We begin now. We are going to start by running a hundred meters marathon nonstop. No stopping. No water. No nothing. Are we together guys?"
