Chapter188: waking up 3

"baby what's wrong?"Alex asked me and I tears welled up in my eyes.

"Stefan just called me a wolf. Alex I'm not a wolf. He's been bullying me when you were not around."I said just to get Stefan into more trouble. This guy had been so mean to me for those days I have been here in this hospital and now it's pay back time.

"I was not bullying you Kim. Fuck!! You call telling you to rest bullying? Or the fact that I was always there to keep an eye on you? Stop being so dramatic."he said and I let my tears flow down my cheeks.

"Stefan, can you please stop calling her names. She's pregnant for heaven's sake and you are fucking making her cry."Alex say and this made me smile. I winked at Stefan who just rolled his eyes and when Alex turned to look at me, I put on a sad face. Damn, this was fun.

"Okay.....but can she get out now. I need to change your bandage and also these nurses need to administer the medication to you."Stefan said and I glared at him. Is this his come back? To chase me out?

"I'm not going anywhere."I said and everyone looked at me.

"Kim, we've talked about this."Stefan said and I remembered all the time he had me go out so that he can change Alex's bandages. I always wondered why I have to go out anyway. It's not like I haven't seen all the parts of Alex's body.

"Okay, but the nurses need to go too."I said and I saw how the nurses threw me hateful eyes. They have been ogling on Alex and I don't want to anybody doing that at all to my husband. They are pretty though but too bad, my Alex is taken by me.

"They are here to administer medication to Alex."Stefan said and I threw him a glance.

"I don't care. If they aren't leaving I'm not too."I said stubbornly and I bet I saw Alex nod at Stefan. What's with the secret communication? Stefan sighed and then he looked at me 

"Fine miss stubborn, you win."he said with a defeated look and I gave him a look like, that's like it asshole.

We got out and thank God I found Andy outside the door. Maybe she was waiting for Stefan. They kinda have something going on and now Andy is not denying it at all. Well, it's great she is progressing in terms of relationship because I also want her to get married and as much Stefan and I are arguing, he will treat Andy good. Correction, Stefan and I ain't arguing, we are just, I don't know what we are doing but for me I am just having fun getting on his nerves.

Alex looked at Stefan who was smiling like a maniac." What is it asshole?"he asked.

"I thought you are gonna make your wife wait a little longer with your stupid pretence. You know I still don't understand why you were pretending to be unconscious though. If by any case she finds out you were lying, you are gonna be in for it."Stefan said still smiling because he knew if Kimberly came to know Alex was pretending to sleep he will face it.

"It's not like I have been up for long. It has only been two days."he said.

"But still, you pretended to make your stubborn and dramatic wife's claws come out. Damn, she's a little hedgehog. How the hell do you deal with her?"Stefan asked frustrated.

"Just fine. She's the love of my life and everything about her is just so attactive and I can't get enough."Alex said with a smile.

"You do realise she was being dramatic just now with the tears and shit right? God, you can't imagine how stubborn she is Alex. She threatened to burn the damn hospital to the ground because we told her she can't see you. She was like a tigress ready to pounce on any matherfucker who would be in her way. Jesus Christ, and getting on my nerves? Fuck!! she's just so annoying."Alex let his frustration and this made Alex smile even wider.

He just can't believe his wife has been giving headaches and it makes him happy that Stefan is the end of people receiving headaches. Stefan has told him this story over and over again since he woke up two days ago and that burning to the hospital ground threat her made pulled was just so funny. He knew she was just blabbering, she can't even handle some things like lifting so e objects around how the hell was she gonna start a fire in the hospital where by the way was full of people and knowing this wife, she's kind and so sympathetic person who wouldn't want anyone getting hurt. Of course it was an empty threat but it seems this guy here really believed her and that got him wondering, what did babe do to convince everyone she can burn a Damn hospital to ground? He smiled just as few things came to his mind.

"Why the hell are you smiling like a fool Alex? Your wife just accused me wrongly and you ain't gonna say anything? Maybe like you believe me and not a word she says."Stefan said annoyed at Alex.

"My wife is always right Stefan. Even if she's lying, she's always right. Have you ever heard of a quote that says, if you want to have a peaceful life always choose your wife each and every single fucking time. So tell me buddy, you want me to choose you and then what? I live in misery? Hell no, I can't do that becay my little baby and I can't get separated a all so stop being so petty and change my fucking bandage and also I want this IV drip away from me."Alex said and Stefan sighed angrily.

"You can't get them away Alex. Just because you are awake doesn't mean you are fully healed. You need them for a few days so just bear for a while."Stefan said and he walked to open his hospital cloth so that he can change his bandage.

"Fuck!! What the hell man?"he asked and Stefan looked at him confused." I can unbotton the fucking buttons myself. Jeez, the fuck would you open my clothes?"Alex asked annoyed opening his hospital buttons and this made Stefan frown.

"Chill out dude. Damn, I'm not gay."Stefan said but Alex didn't dare look at him. 

"Just get to fucking work and change the damn bandages."Alex said lying flat on the bed. Stefan worked on his healing stomach and after he was done, he looked at Alex who had his eyes on the ceiling seeming as if he was in thoughts.

"Will I ever get to know what the fuck happened that day?"Stefan asked but Alex didn't answer but with how he frowned only told Stefan that he heard him." I at least deserve to know how the hell you got shot for fucks sake. What do you expect me to think? A Mafia boss getting shot like some amateur fool. That shot almost killed you asshole, just so you know."Stefan added and when Alex didn't speak he sighed frustrated then he stood and straightened his white lab coat and set to leave." Just take the medication on the bedside, or not. I don't care. You are a grown ass man and I don't need to tell you to take your medicine."

"Andrew."Alex said just before Stefan got to the door. He turned around and looked at Alex confused." He's the one who shot me."he added and Stefan's mouth hanged open.
