Arthur frowned and said ' Who are they?'
He replied ' don't know, We have contacted the legal authorities there and they say someone must have a hand behind it, else no one dares to do it and it's becoming a huge issue he requests you to be there'
Arthur nodded and said ' Okay prepare the car and wait for me down'
The secretary nodded and left…
Arthur for some reason wasn't sure of the decision and with some difficulty, he stood and went down to Maria's floor…
He went in front of her chamber and held the door handle and he remembered something and shaking his head, he just turned and left.
Many employees saw that Arthur came but didn't meet Maria, everyone was well aware of their relationship and seeing it everyone just shrugged…
Arthur went down and sat in the car and said to leave….
Maria was working in her chamber and one of her colleagues came to her with some work and told her that Arthur came but left from the door…
Maria felt weird about it too but she just made an excuse and after she left, she took out her mobile and called Arthur but he didn't pick up the call…
In the car, Arthur looked at the screen and he remembered something and thinking it he disconnected the call and typed a message ' For some important work leaving to another city will be back once the work is over'
Sending it he threw the phone in the side….
His face was a bit cold….
Maria saw the message and she felt it was a bit odd but she sent okay take care…
Later when she went out she heard about the fire she thought that he was weird due to this and her hanging heart fell….
Time passed….
Maria was texting Arthur after every now and then but didn't get a single reply from him….
Olivia noticed that she was sad and she asked ' What happened Maria?'

It was 5 pm and Maria was sitting in her room and she heard a knock and she said to come in and 4-5 gìrls entered holding a beautiful dress and jewelry…
Maria looked at them but she couldn't feel any joy which she usually feels…

It was the best 5-star hotel in the city owned by the Marcello group, it has always had a charm but today it was lit up for the Exclusive Event of the Marcello group….
All the employees around the city and their partners were going to be present for the completion of one of their biggest projects….

Everyone clapped and Olivia walked toward the stage and stood in front of the podium and started talking. She welcomed and thanked the staff and the investors and partners who helped them throughout and also placed the future prospects of the company….
As she was concluding she said ' I would like to apologize in place of My son as due to some emergency situation which you all know is not here, He is thankful to you and in place of him, Miss Maria will be acknowledging you all so please welcome Maria'
Hearing it Maria was shocked, Myra was happy seeing Maria being recognized by them but two people's faces were black, especially Rachel….
