This shocking discovery left the whole Perez manor in panic and concern regarding who it could be. Aelia's gut was screaming that it was Javier, he was the only person who came to mind when she racked her brains for any culprits. After some time, she made the decision to leave for the Grand Duke's residence and ask for his assistance. Aelia made sure her mother was alright and could take care of matters at home. She then left for his grace's residence on her horse, thinking it would be the quickest way to reach him. Her mind was full of thoughts which raced as she galloped throughout the journey. Some tears came to her eyes, wondering why all of this was happening to her. Sure, the Perez family had some influence in the country, but it was not that much for someone to poison her father and brothers. After some distance, she finally saw his manor. Sighing with relief, she was let inside. Ezekiel came rushing towards her as soon as he was informed of her arrival.

"Such a sudden visit without any notice?" He asked, looking at her with worry in his eyes.

"Ezekiel.."

Her eyes became watery as she told him about all that had happened. She did become angry when she informed Ezekiel of her suspicion regarding Javier and how he has motives to do such a deed. Tears fell as she started to sob for the first time today. Ezekiel immediately came forward to embrace her and stroked her hair as she continued.

"I don't know.. what to do.." Her voice trembled. "My father.. Alex.. Altair.." She hiccuped.

He placed a soft kiss on her forehead, "I'll send over an Imperial doctor to the Perez manor then start an investigation." His voice turned slightly firm as he promised, "I'll make sure to find who did this and make sure that justice is served."

Aelia softly smiled through her tears as she looked up at him, "Thank you." She whispered, remaining in his arms.

Ezekiel remained as her pillar, supporting her body which had become weak due to the events which had unfolded and how she rushed over on horseback. He hurriedly wrote a note addressed to the Crown Prince with a brief summary of what had happened and that an Imperial doctor must be sent to the Perez manor. He then handed it to a butler and informed him to send it to the Palace as soon as possible.

"Aelia, my dear, come. Let's go to your home. We'll investigate while you can rest easy, okay?" Ezekiel said softly.

"I want to investigate this as well."

"But Aelia, I can't let you. What if you get hurt?"

"I won't when I have you around." She said firmly. "You're the strongest in the land, I trust you with all my being."

"But..." He was still hesitant.

Aelia placed her hand upon his, "Please, let me do this. I wish to take revenge for this atrocity."

Ezekiel let out a soft sigh, "Alright, but if anything happens to you.. Aelia, I won't be able to forgive myself."

She looked at him with a slight smile, happy that someone would be so worried over her. "I'll be fine. Now, let's go."

He nodded and called his group of best knights along with two mages to come with them. The mages then teleported the Grand Duke, the Lady, the knights, the Lady's horse, and themselves right in front of the Perez Manor.
