Chapter 4 Title at end updated

After eating dinner jack was called home by his mum for some reason I think I was because he needed to help her out with something, not to sure, anyway my dad and mum had said that they had received a letter from an old friend. The letter said they wanted to come round and see the place they had settled down but won't be able to arrive for around 5 months because of politics.

That's the short answer anyway, oh and they are apparently nobles and not the bad kind, both my parents emphasised this. They are also Beast kin, apparently they are a type of lion not sure what kind thought and and get this, their last name is lion, like how creative is that, and least my last name is creative and not what species I am. (´∀｀).

Oh also that warm feeling in my stomach, that I mentioned so long ago, that is actually a mana core forming, I got sp for helping form it faster so ye that's a good thing but, you know there is a down side, and that is that people literally gut monsters for it .

This provides the user with the body of a monster making them stronger then an average person by around double while also allowing you to evolve the same way a monster does and be able to consume raw and monster meat with no drawback. Ev means evolution and the number is how many it can have, when a skill evolves it's name usually changes and some when evolved can suddenly evolve further then before

You have a monster core, this improves you mama capacity and mana regeneration. This also allows you to use monster unique magic naturally or learnt

This is unique to the people who have the title reincarnated and it allows your body to adapt to the environment better and gain resistances faster while also being able to gain skills and proficiency faster and easier

You can not be effect by non magical ice or cold

This skill also provide the skills cold immunity and ice resistance

This allows you to use ice magic, the monster variant means the ice you produce is easier to make, is stronger, uses less mana and you can learn and create most ice magic spells easier or by your self

So as you can see I have had a bit of a glow up in stats and that is thanks to my training and skills, but I would like to say it's mostly because of my hard work…

Anyway the ranking of the mana cores thankfully I was able to read about this in one of the books about basic magic knowledge and it stats: there are six stages within the human mana core and in order from lowest to highest they are, black, red, orange, yellow, silver and white and within all stages are 3 mini stages that include unstable, stable and complete. For monster cores they are arranged in letters instead of colour and these letters go from G to SSS.

Monster cores can be used in many ways some of them being for mana core evolutions, battery's, and potion making, and depends on the level of monster core will determine the effectiveness and potency of what it's used for.

Oh also I never explained how I look have I, umm so at the moment I have short and scruffy, pure white hair with fluffy fox ears on top, deep blue eyes with slitted iris's, a cute face( obviously) for hight I am just under 4ft so a bit taller then average 5 year olds, a small white fox tail and i am wearing a basic blue top and brown trousers and standard shoes, the reason why I am not wearing a skirt, I don't wanna, and that final.

Dad " I know it, I know are daughter was one, I told you her behaviour was off, and that she knew way to much for her age."

Mum " alright dear, keep the gloating to your self, now sapphire why did you lie about what you are. "

dad " sapphire, you can say you know, we won't leave you or anything, it just give up more options to how we should treat you, and to see how much we should train you, so there will only be benefits" dad said in a soft voice.

sapphire "bollocks… fine, I … I was reincarnated… happy. "

" so, that's what you are, ok that's a relief I thought you were some kind of monster posing as our daughter" dad make a hand movement with the sound of metal scraping across wood, something has been place back behind the cabinets.

Sapphire " … ok, well the quick answer would be that I got murdered because of a misunderstanding with a drunken dude with a hidden gun, and yes I have a system.

" well, that was quick, I thought we would be here for a lot longer then that" dad says wiping imaginary sweat of his head

" how do you lot know about reincarnated people and systems? "

mum " well they are not as uncommon as you think, actually there is a hole classroom full of them in the main capital along with some summoned people, there are a lot of them for some reason, most likely one or more of the demon lords is getting summed again… sad days are upon us it seems"

mum " well first of yes it's normal for this to happen here, second a hero's mark is a marks that appears on someone's body that provides them with benefits and also shows who is a potential hero candidate, most of the reincarnated once's get it at some point and summoned once's get it instantly. Oh another thing if you ever get one tell us and also tell us when you get your first mission, we will do are best to prepare you to do it with as much ease as possible." She says with a hint of proudness in her voice.
