The Plan

The next day back in Cassandra's room the three, along with a two of Cassandra's best, were in the room discussing the plan.

"So from what we know this Allistar is the one calling the shots. A theory going around that he's being controlled yet that's not confirmed. He's already killed different species by the dozens so we know he means business. Cass how many people do you have here?"

"This is not my coven. Simply a sister one that is protecting me. The leader of the coven is away at the moment on vacation but is allowing me to stay here at the moment. Julio here can give you that number."

"500 people" said Julio looking at Avery with a stern look.

"Ok ok, how many are willing to risk their lives getting the information needed?"

"What are you up to?"

"Relax, Avery and I did this back in Los Angeles. He's asking for people to be spies. He's going with a plan we call the Lincoln Clay."

"Who?"

"Video game character, the guy made up this plan on how to kill this boss by going after the people at the bottom then going up each rank. Think of it this way. If Allistar is at the top what most people would do is just kill the main guy. Thing is someone would replace him the next day and the problem won't be fixed. So we start at the bottom. Take out the enforcers and the sergeants and then the lieutenants. After those are gone we go after the captains before heading to the big cheese himself. When the big cheese is gone the bigger cheese would revile themselves and then we work from there. Thing is we don't know how many people are working along side this guy nor sere size of this guy. Hence why I asked."

"Miss, what do you suggest."

Cassandra looks at Avery before nodding. "Go along with it. Round up volunteers and let them know what they need to do."

"Oh also before we go do our own thing. We need allies. People we can only trust. Know anyone like that?"

"That's going to be a big problem. The witches and werewolves have a disagreement going on since 2013. Vampires won't work with werewolves and vise versa. Witches won't work with vampires cause of what's happening now."

"Ok well see who is our allies on the vampire side. In the mean time you all are gonna put your differences aside and come to terms with the fact that something bigger out there is killing you both. that understood."

"Ha, miss the foolish hum-"

"Julio, get it done. Do what I asked I will handle the rest along with them."

"But miss, the werewolves won't admit the faults of their actions. They-"

"Do what I say now, or else."

Julio nods and walks away. Cassandra looks at Avery and Jon before speaking. "Avery I am going to need you to stay here with me. You need to draw up this plan of yours. Can't risk having you out an about. Jon as for you, do what you do best. I heard that one of your spirits is always successful at getting information."

"Always madam, and the name is Dameon." He winks before leaving. Avery starts drawing his plans as Cassandra looks at him. She gets up and sages the room giving it a calming mode before going up to Avery and massaging his head humming. Avery stops and slowly picks his head up. He has a questioning look then speaks. "Cass, the fuck are you doing."

"Easing your mind human. Been lost for three years must be ruff on one's mind."

Avery jolts up and looks at Cassandra giving a firm and angry look. "You don't ever do that to me again you hear. No one, and no one knows what it was like so just drop the caring act. I don't need help, not even if I was getting it for free. You got that!"

"You think you have it worse yet you never seen your own family burn to death, screaming, crying, pleading for help when you can do is watch helplessly."

"You don't think I was one of them. I lived that for 10 months. You should know cause after that is when the killings stopped. I'm going outside, let me know when you decide to stop going through my mind and relaxing me." He walks away. Cassandra just shakes her head and say a praying chant, one that asks Gaia to help Avery through his pain.
