CHAPTER 4: the night encounter 2

Anna screamed at the top of her voice jolting the others awake, a scream enough to wake up every living being in ravenswood university. As Clare and Katie rose up, Katie quickly made a move and grabbed their led torchlight which illuminated the entire room.clare then went and held Anna who was visibly shaken.

"Anna, what's wrong, hope you aren't hurt?, did you see a ghost or monster" Clare questioned with a trembling voice.

But Anna was too scared to speak,she just pointed to the particular direction she had seen the figure but as the girls looked over they saw a red cloth that was hanging upside down at a spot in the room.

" Is that what you saw? Lol, that was my last Halloween costume" Clare said feeling much better.

"She must have mistook the pumpkin head drawn there as some monster, after all unusual things do happen at times" Katie said going back to their bed to continue her sweet sleep that was interrupted.

" Maybe she has started hallucinating after listening to all the crap scary theories Sam has made up in the day" Clare said

" I am very sure of what I saw, it was terrifying, maybe Sam is right after all about his intuition of this place" Anna said to Clare

Anna couldn't get the terrifying sight out of her mind,Clare held her tightly as they all went back to sleep. but who knows? This might the beginning of the nightmares to come.
