Chapter 71 The Sanctuary

"So, is there anything you want to inform me about our reformation? Any ideas or suggestions?" Asked Kanda towards his ruling members inside the room.
Kanda and the people that had involved with the reformation are gathered in the meeting room after the trial for the previous corrupted officials. He and his team had tried their best to find any clues about any corrupted officials that had not been caught yet.
"Supreme Commander, if I may give my opinion, I want to inform you that your decision to create a democratic government couldn't be realised as the election for the position inside the government will be chosen from the people's votes. If any corrupted officials that we haven't caught yet heard about this, they will manipulate people to vote for them. Therefore, the ruling just like during Friedrich Ungrass's time will be repeated." Replied Rose, the Chief Secretary, towards Kanda.
Rose has short magenta hair until her shoulder while being accompanied with purple eyes. She wearing a light brown coat where white uniform can be seen inside the coat. She also wearing a black tight-fitting skirt where she wears a black pantyhose and a high heel. Her figure can be said as enchanting woman where some parts of her body had been emphasized by her current tight-fitting outfits.
"Yes, Supreme Commader. I also had agreed with what Chief Secretary Rose had said at you. I think that we need to find another method to ensure our government could run efficiently by capable officials where the history during the time of Friedrich Ungrass will not happen again." Replied Abrohams as the General of the Army supporting Rose's opinion.
"Alright, I could agree with that. So, is there any ideas on how we need to find any of capable officials later for?" Asked Kanda after he listened to Abrohams and Rose.
"May I say something, Supreme Commander?" Maya raised her hand as she said that.
Kanda looks at her and say: "Sure, Maya. What are you want to say at us?"
"I think we should choose our officials by the work that they had done during the past ruling of this planet. We could find the records for their works and sorting them into different departments according to their specialization. When I had became the Head Maid under Antonia-sama, I had sorted all the maids at the mansion according to their skill such as battle maids, support maids, and even household maids. When those remaining 30 maid-in-trainings had finished their training, I will check their performance before putting them into different groups that I had said before." Replied Maya as she also had explained about her ideas.
Kanda nods his head as he listened to Maya's explanation before he say: "That's a good idea, Maya, thank you for giving your ideas at us."
Maya just nods her head at Kanda before Kanda looks at others and say: "How about the idea that had been gave by Maya? Is there any objection or another ideas which you could share with us here?"
"I think we could use what Maya-san had said, Ichijou-kun. I think her idea could be used as we need to find capable officials as soon as possible where their helps currently are needed by us to support our new government." Replied Kuune at him.
"I agree with Minister Kuune, Supreme Commander. We could speak in-depth about our government structures later after we had filled any vacancies for the position inside the government." Supported Rose at Kuune's words.
"...Alright, we will proceed with this thing where I want Minister Kuune and Chief Secretary Rose to order your subordinates to find any capable officials where they had clean records for their services. You can use any resources to find those people as long as both of you are sure about their credibility." Replied Kanda after he had thought for a moment.
"What the next subject that we will discuss here, Supreme Commander?" Asked Rose as she and Kuune had took notice about their assignment.
"Next, I want to talk about our planet's security including our new addition planet, Dogisia Federation. I want General Abrohams to ensure our security are secure as this planet had been excluded from the alliance of Galactic Federation of Intelligence Life. Although that Orsonion had gave us its promise to ensure their alliance members to behave, I don't really believe its promise as their alliance members could attack us at any moment where our forces are still in the recovery process. I want you to cooperate with Ichika here to improve our armament's capabilities as she had the knowledge from the Dogisia Federation which she could implement that on our armament." Explained Kanda at them as he looks at Abrohams and Ichika.
"I will do as you had ordered, Supreme Commander." Replied Abrohams respectfully.
"Leave it to me, Ichijou-san." Replied Ichika after Abrohams.
Kanda nods at the both of them before looking at Jens's direction and say: "Jens, I want you to create a construction team to build our R&D department at Dogisia Federation as that planet will become our industrial site and knowledge hub in the future. I also want you to meet with the experts to change that planet into our satellite planet as I need our territories as close as possible to secure our territorial's perimeter from any unknown enemies. You can discuss with Minister Kuune for the allocation of workforces and General Abrohams for you and your subordinates' security at that place later."
"Fine. I will do that." Replied Jens short at Kanda's order.
"Governor Jens, I need you to speak with Supreme Commander respectfully. Please respect him as our leader though he only hold this position temporarily." Reprimanded Rose at Jens's lack of respect at Kanda.
"Yes, Governor Jens. Although Supreme Commander had allowed you to be involved in this meeting, I will not allow you to speak at Supreme Commander with that kind of tone." Supported Abrohams with Rose's words at Jens.
"Hmph...If you want to kiss his ass that much, please don't involve me with both of you. It's already good that I want to sit in this room which your alien that had been abandoned by your allies." Mocked Jens at Rose and Abrohams while crossing her arms.
"What do you say at us, Governor Jens?!!" Shouted Abrohams as he raises from his seat.
"What?!! Are you angry with what I had said at you and your people in this planet? If not for Ichijou here, I had already let you planet to be destroyed when I had fought with your previous leader." Jens said that at Abrohams without care with his outburts.
"Stop! Both of you!" Kanda said that with slightly raised tone.
He looks at Abrohams and say: "General, please sit on your seat again. I understand that you're angry with what Jens had said but I need you to be patience as she had already became our ally now and we need to cooperate to each other in the future."
Abrohams sits back on his seat as he listened to Kanda where Kanda looks at Jens next and say: "You too, Jens. Please don't unnecessarily provoke them as they had became one of our people. I know that you couldn't erase your hatred on this planet but I need your cooperation to help me here."
Jens just snorted at him before facing away from looking at his face where Kanda just shakes his head at her ethics.
"Our next discussion is about this planet's renovation. I will change this planet into our commercial and residential areas where I need the people of this people to involve in this renovation. I will delegate this task to Captain Rosaline where you need to draft the people at the age 16 and above to participate in this task except for elderly. You can discuss with several city planners to design the infrastructures here. I need you to submit that renovation plan at us first before we give you the green light to proceed with the renovation later. Can you do that, Captain Rosaline?" Instructed Kanda before he looks at her and asked her.
"Yes, Supreme Commander. I will work on that as soon as possible."
"Ok, good. I will end the meeting now and we will meet again when our officials had been found by Minister Kuune and Chief Secretary Rose later. I need both of you to work on this as soon as possible as I need to return at the planet Earth to visit my acquaintances before going back here again." Kanda nods at Rosaline's reply before he said all of that.
"Supreme Commander, we had forgot to discuss something important in this meeting." Rose suddenly said that which cause Kanda to be confused.
"What had we forgotten, Chief Secretary Rose?" Asked Kanda at her.
"We haven't yet discussing about our new name for this planet as I don't think that Supreme Commander still want to use this planet's old name." Replied Rose at Kanda's question.
"I see...I had forgot about that. Is there any ideas for that as I don't really know a good name for that?" Asked Kanda as he looks around the room at the people in there.
"Hmm...How about "The Sanctuary", Kanda-niisan?" Answered Antonia for the name of this planet. She continues: "I had chose this name because this planet will become our new place where this place will free from any outsiders after the reformation had been completed later."
"I agree with the choice of name from Antonia-san, Ichijou-kun." Kuune said that at Kanda.
"I second that, Supreme Commander." Supported Rose.
"Me too, Supreme Commander." Supported Abrohams while nodding his head.
"Hmph, it's fine enough." Replied Jens as she still crossing her arms.
"If everyone had agreed with Antonia-chan's choice, I will declare this planet as "The Sanctuary". I hope that we could make this place as our new safe haven from now on." Declared Kanda towards the people inside the room.
After this, all the people inside the room had went to their own respective tasks that had been gave by Kanda while Kanda continues back reading the books at the library on this planet.
