Plans and Beginning of the Lord's Wrath Incident

(A/N: Yeah I forgot to mention this last chapter but Carrera evolved into a demon peer after being named it should be an obvious thing but I thought I should mention it just in case so that's all here's the chapter)

After having enough of teasing Carrera, Asahi turned around and started walking out, Carrera ran up to him and said, "oh yeah, what now we gonna beat someone else up?" hearing her question Asahi just chuckled and said, "Yes, now grab on we're going." hearing this she got a bit excited and asked.

"how?" nonetheless she grabbed on and he used spatial manipulation to teleport them to Tempest seeing the sudden change in scenery Carrera was a bit surprised but just wrote it off as one of Asahi's abilities and smiled.

walking around for a bit and eating while greeting the various residents of Tempest he came across Shuna and called out to her, "Hey Shuna!"

"Oh! Greetings Lord Asahi! How are you doing?"

"I'm fine thanks for asking anyway where's Rimuru?"

"Oh Lord Rimuru has gone to the Kingdom of Ingrassia for some business. May I ask the reason for your visit?" she asked smiling at him but then noticed Carrera at his side and asked " Oh and who might this person be?"

" Oh her she's Carrera, my *ehm* lover." hearing this Carrera blushed while Asahi rubbed his head. This information shocked Shuna but she soon recomposed herself and Asahi said, "Anyway can I ask you to have tea prepared for us and a map if possible?"

"It will be done please wait in Lord Rimuru's office" hearing this Asahi nodded and him and Carrera began to move towards the office on the way Carrera asked, "where are we going also you still haven't told me what we're going to do"

"wait till we get to the office I'll explain there" hearing this she just nodded and they eventually got to the office Asahi went inside and sat on one of the couches there with Carrera sitting next to him while having a little blush on her face seeing this Asahi smirked and Carrera asked, "Now explain."

"okay okay just let the tea and the map arrive"

A few minutes later a goblina and a hobgoblin arrived with tea, snacks and a map of the mainland, they put them down and left after bowing respectfully. Asahi picked up one of the cups and began drinking tea while Carrera started devouring snacks after a while Asahi placed his cup down and set up the map on the table, he turned one of his fingers into a claw and encircled a giant area, "this area is ruled by the Eastern Empire under Emperor Rudra Nam Ul Nasca."

Hearing this Carrera nodded her head and asked, " but what has that got to do with us?"

"Just listen along, it has a gigantic population with a lot of strong soldiers which means a lot of souls if some tragedy involving massacres would to happen."

"Oh like when that bitch Blanc was summoned"

"Yes like that, My objective is to become a demon lord" hearing this Carrera nodded her head thinking a person of his power should naturally hold that title while also thinking about what kind of monster he'd become after he evolves further.

"Anyways since I want to become a demon lord strong souls are naturally required and quite a lot of them too and so I want to cause destruction there , their country possesses the true dragon Velgrynd as a guardian while I have a way to deal with her and also some powerhouses and although none of them can breach my defense I'd rather not get caught up in such a mess because the situation could change any time since the demon lord evolution can possibly end up weakening me during it's process as such I need someone to defend myself" hearing that Asahi wanted to go up against such people Carrera got excited and smiled while saying, "I'll defend you with my life if I have to!"

Hearing this Asahi smiled , "I know but I'd rather not put someone I love in danger if possible so we're gonna get some help" hearing his answer Carrera blushed and said, "O-okay"

"Normally I'd just let you fight them the problem is one of their generals possesses an ability that is basically absolute mind control that can even be made to affect true dragons"

Hearing this Carrera was shocked since True dragons basically stood at the top of this world nothing could beat them if it could affect them what was she in front of such an ability. She nodded at him a bit more seriously this time and said, " You said help who would help you in such a thing? "

"Oh it's one of your acquaintances actually." saying that he brought his claw down a a specific country called as Silberia where Testarossa had previously manifested and gotten defeated by the Empire's knights on purpose as part of her contract of course Carrera had also heard of the incident and coludn't help but ask, "Why that bitch?!"

"because she's the most easily accessible and possesses enough strength to back you up although she might not be your match anymore also because she's likely to find it interesting and come along with us"

hearing his sound response she couldn't retaliate and just gritted her teeth while Asahi got near her and patted her head a minute or two later Asahi took his hand back and began to walk out with his hands behind him but suddenly Shuna walked in and said,

"Do you need anything else lord Asahi?"

"No, Thank you for your hospitality tell rimuru I visited also tell him to be grateful since I'm about to save him a lot of trouble. Let's go Carrera!"

"Okay" Carrera said as she walked out alongside him while Shuna looked at his back wondering what he meant by what he just said but ultimately just gave up and continued her duties

and so began their journey towards the Eastern Empire well not journey more like walk as they ran at fast speeds and reached it's borders within a single hour and it was now time for a one-sided massacre and an evolution the guards at the border tried to stop them but their heads were sent flying with a swing of his hand, he turned to Carrera and said, "I have only one order destroy everything in sight and give me the souls."

hearing his words Carrera started launching nuclear strike magic in every direction while smiling like a maniac while Asahi had his hands behind his back and walked behind Carrera while watching the once lands glorious empire be turned into barren wastelands where ever they went
