 "Your Entry Has Been Accepted for Further Processing"

With these words, a new, hopefully better, chapter of my life started. I've won the immigration lottery of the American random lottery program. my family erupted in cheers as the whole house was filled with joy. I talked with my family a bit planning things out, so for a start, I needed money fast so my father will take care of preparing the paper work while I and my brother will travel to my uncle in france to work illegally to gather money I needed around 5000 dollars, which is a lot for my family, at least because our currency is shit 1 dollar = 53 EGP so 5000 dollars is roughly around 250000EGP EGP. We can make that in like 3 to 4 months if me and my brother both work . So filled with hope for the future, I went to sleep happily with a smile on my face for the first time in a long time .

I woke up around 4 in the morning and for the first time in a month I could get up for fajr prayer as the crushing despair of a hopeless future didn't pin me to my bed and make me numb my soul on my phone I got up with hope for the future, as if my 7 years of depression had dissipated into thin air so I started my morning routine, which I usually do around 2 10 hours after I wake up, sitting in my bed on my phone I first filled a a deep bowl with ice-cold water and ice, then dipped my face into the bowl, holding my breath as long as I could. As I raised my head to take a breath, I took a piece of ice from the bowl and massaged my face with it, then I threw it into the water and dipped my head again I repeated this until the water felt the same temperature as my face then I threw the water into the sink of the kitchen because I was using filtered water then filled the ice cubes maker with filtered water and put it in the freezer, Then I went to my room and carried the table outside to the living room then the laptop, notebooks and headphones.

I unfolded the table, turned on the laptop and opened YouTube. Then I played lec 7 of a macroeconomics playlist of a Doctor in college and for the first time in a month or two, I started studying as soon as I woke up .
