A few meters outside the forest. Just after an encounter with the lava enemy

After we arrived at the statue where I got my new power from, along with an altercation with the lava slime monsters, we went to the city of freedom since that was our next move and it would also be the place where we could get some answers from the bard.

as we were making our way to the campsite I could see a shadow of something fly over me and Aden's head 'Wow! what is that!? There's something huge, in the sky!' Paimon said as I could see it too when Aden gave her the answer to the question she was talking about. 'That is a dragon.' Aden said as I looked at where it was heading. 'It's headed towards the heart of the forest, we must proceed with caution.' she informed as we both nodded making our way to the campsite ready to begin our strike.

Upon entering I could see that the chest was sealed by a circle of ancient writing which both I and Aden could guess that we had to eliminate the target who activated it in order to deactivate it so we can see what is inside. And after that, we went on to the next area. the whispering woods

1 pm

'Okay, we should be in the woods now.' Aden said as we were at the entrance of the area. 'Remember, we must proceed with caution.' Paimon informed again as we both nodded and started making our way inside the forest. 'i've got a bad feeling about this.' i thought to myself

INSIDE THE FOREST

1:15 pm

As I, Paimon, and Aden walked into the forest we started looking around to see where it had gone to, and by it, I mean the dragon that flew over me and Aden's head 'Huh? look at that!' she said as we both heard a noise and ran to a tree to take cover in as we both looked at what it was while getting closer to it for a better view and well... Aden was right, it literally was a dragon. And it was in the heart of the woods. And there was someone else there with that dragon as well, and it was a person, or should I say bard standing in front of it.

???: 'Don't be afraid... It's alright now, I'm back.' he informed as we all watched on in observation. And as we watched what was going on, Paimon was the 1st to speak up. 'Is he talking... to a dragon'. she questioned. I nodded to Paimon.

And just as I was about to confirm my suspicions and start asking her, the thing from my chest sparked to life causing both Aden and Paimon to look in shock at what we were seeing here. and not only did it do that but it also made the dragon pissed upon it being triggered when we looked at the outcome it had caused in that process when the dragon had lashed out at the bard who jumped back and looked to his right to see if anyone was there causing the interference.

???: 'Who's there!?' He asked looking around as he could see the 3 of us while the dragon was thrashing about in the process as he started taking steps back before disappearing in the process as he knew we were the ones causing the interference with the dragon and decided to leave us with it.

As the bard left the area both Aden and I started looking at the dragon and I could see that it was now up in the air and was now flying away leaving us all scared shitless and in shock.

Paimon: "That was close! Paimon almost got blown away," she said as she looked at us. 'Luckily Paimon managed to grab hold of your hair! Thanks.' she said as she smiled at me. 'Well, it is a good thing that the dragon didn't notice us.' i responded as Aden nodded when he was standing next to me. 'Just what was that? Paimon thought we were gonna get eaten. She asked as we were trying to process what happened

Paimon: 'It definitely has something to do with that weirdo who was talking to the dragon...' she questioned as I and Aden nodded. 'i can't believe dragons exist in this world...' Aden said in shock from what he encountered. 'Yeah, Paimon gets why you're worried...' she said as she and Aden looked at the red thing that was glowing in the distance.

Both: "Oh? What's that?" the two of them asked.

Paimon: "There's some kind of shiny red thingy on the big rock over there..." she said as we looked at the shiny red thingy on the big rock. and the 1st suggestion that came to her mind was 'Let's go take a closer look.' And so a closer look we did.

As we were making our way over there Paimon said that she did not have a good feeling about this as we were at the location of where this shiny red thingy on the big rock was sitting. As we made our way to it, I could see that this red thingy on the big rock was glowing with the red stuff around it, 'Paimon's never seen a stone like this before, So Paimon can't tell what it is.' she said as we looked at it, Aden who was curious wanted to feel it as he reached his hand out and touched it until.

Aden: "OW bloody hot".

After hearing that both I and Paimon agreed that it was not a good idea to touch it and suggested that we just put it away for now as we both nodded, grabbed it, and got the hell out of there.
