New World

For the past several days he had been visiting the address given by Sister Elizabeth. He went to Father Joshua and told him everything. What happened to him? What was he thinking of himself?. His mind was full. He told everything openly. Father Joshua listened with great love and attention to his whole conversation and then for a long time told him some selected things from the Old and New Testaments. The life of Jesus that he dedicated to the people and then being crucified by them. He was listening to him like a bewitched routine. For the first time he felt like he wanted to hear all this, this is what he wanted to know, this is what he wanted to feel.

"I don't want anything, Father! I did not come here for any financial gains. I just want peace. I need mantle composure and I didn't get it all from my religion. I think I'll find it all here. I want to sleep at night. I want to forget everything. I don't want to think about anything".

He was talking and Father Joshua was smiling softly.

"You will get everything, my child! everything. But you have to wait a while and the more steadfast you are during that time, the better your future life will be".

"Father, I will do it". He grabbed Father Joshua's hand anxiously and said. Father Joshua gently patted his hand.

"Father! I know. I want to come to you every day and talk to you. I want to know a lot from you". He wanted to get permission from him.

"Sure! You can come to me every day."

He had been going to him every day since day one. He would sit with him for an hour and a half and then he would get up.

But, in that hour and a half a lot had changed inside him. The answer was found there. His depression and frustration were not completely gone, but it did subside.

Holding Father Joshua's hand, there were many people to help him and each one was more sincere than before. He loved his new world very much.

In a few weeks he had changed a lot. He had not been a regular convert. He was still reading books and pamphlets given to him by the Father Joshua. Within a few weeks his decision to convert was firmly established. He was about to change his religion completely by a week.
