Chapter 198- The Will
Sunday has arrived. Declan was getting ready to meet Yasmin's friend. He cast a sidelong glance at Yasmin, who was waiting for him on the settee.
"Are you sure we don't need to get something for your friend?" Declan inquired, rolling his sleeves up to his elbows. He was self-conscious about going with empty hands.
Yasmin chewed on the insides of her cheeks as she considered his question. "She is fond of white roses." That was what she said after some time.
Declan tensed up and frowned at her.
Yasmin observed his reaction. While she was in the hospital, she saw him toss the white roses in the trash. She couldn't figure out why he was acting that way at the time. She later understood the whole thing when she met Julia that day and learned many things about Grace. Looking at the deep vertical lines between his eyebrows, she knew he was disturbed.
