Chapter 82

Hi guys sorry for not updating as you all know writing is just a hobby of mine, an outlet to keep my mind off things. I'm always busy with work these days and I am trying to squeeze in writing in my schedule so I hope you understand the lack of updates.

I am grateful for everyone who patiently and continuously waited for the updates. However, I would like to reiterate that I am not a professional writer and I am not gaining anything from this. I appreciate your support but I would request it if you don't demand for an update. I may sound ungrateful but I hope you understand where I am coming from. Demanding and letting me know that you are waiting for the next chapter sends a different message.

Anyway, I would try to upload at least 1-2 chapters per week. I will try hehe, hope you understand that sometimes words don't come easy and it's hard to complete a whole chapter. However, I will try my best in order to provide you with an update.

"Something bothering you?' Alex asked worriedly. Keith has been quiet since they left his parents' house. "Is it about work?" He is wondering if there was a problem at work and Keith just rushed to go back because he promised to come home after five days. He does not want to inconvenience Keith so he is fine if he had to stay longer at his parents', though it is hard being away with his husband for so long.

"Nah, all good. I was able to finish everything and won't have to go back again anytime soon." Keith replied.

"Hmm, then why are you so quiet?"

"Ohh, that? Nothing serious. I was just surprised with your brother and I still can't wrap my mind about it." Keith chuckled as he recalled seeing Matt after almost a week. The first time they met, they had a fistfight; afterwards, the other just ignored him and barely gave him a glance. Hence, he got shocked when he opened the door for him and spoke to him.

Alex laughed. "I thought it was something serious. I told you I already made up with Mattie and he already acknowledges our marriage and our bond."

"I know, I know! It is just that I still cannot believe he would be like that, you know. I half expected him to throw another punch at me."

"Hey Mattie is not like that. I told you already he accepted us and he's not the type of person who would just fight with someone." Alex replied, defending his brother. He was about to tell Keith about how great his brother is when he caught his husband smiling secretly. "You're teasing me." Alex pouted which made Keith chuckled.

"Come here." Keith said, gesturing for Alex to sit on his lap, which the latter did while still pouting. "Are you comfortable?"

Alex did not respond and instead buried his face at the crook of his husband's neck. This has been his favorite cuddling position, he can better smell Keith's pheromones this way. He guessed that Keith's scent is calming him and Bean as he would instantly feel better when he does this.

"Honestly, I'm not confident that Mattie would accept us, at the back of my mind there was this fear that he would hate me and I couldn't bear that. However, Mom told me that Mattie will never hate me and that all I need to do is give Mattie an assurance. An assurance that I am okay and I will be safe with you. I guess that made things easier for me to make up with him."

"I'm glad everything ended well." Keith smiled, giving Alex a soft kiss at the top of his head. Frankly speaking, he doesn't care if people around them don't accept their marriage, all he needs is Alex and Bean. However, that won't make Alex happy and he'll do everything to make him happy.

"So what were you really thinking?" Alex curiously asked, raising his head to meet Keith's eyes.

"Hmm, nothing serious. It's just that finally I could take you home without worrying that you have to leave in order not to get caught by your family."

Alex smiled hearing Keith's words. Having his family's blessing made all the difference. His heart feels light and he's excited about what the future holds for their little family.

"Welcome home Alex." Sebastian greeted them as they arrived. He instructed the other servants waiting to gather the couples' luggages.

"Hello Sebastian, it's been a while. I'll be in your care from now on." Alex replied shyly to the older man.

"It would be my pleasure to serve you." Sebastian replied, giving Alex a warm smile. "Do you want me to have your dinner served now or do you guys want to rest for a while?" He turned to Keith and asked.

"Do you want to eat now? Are you hungry? Anything you want to eat? We can ask Sebastian to make the arrangements." Keith asked Alex instead of answering Sebastian. His actions made the older man smile.

"No, I'm fine. I'm okay with whatever they prepare." Alex waved his hands exaggeratedly. "I don't want to be a bother. I'm really okay."

"Alex."

"Yes?"

"You are the master of this house. Our role is to serve you, it is not a bother if you ordered us to prepare the food you want. We would be happy to fulfill your order." Sebastian said in a formal voice.

"Ahhm I'm really okay, I mean I'm not craving anything right now. I would be happy to have whatever you prepared for us." Alex replied, he bit his lips when Sebastian seemed to be not satisfied with what he said. "I…I will.. tell you if there's anything else I like." He added.

"Very well, please inform me whatever you need and I shall see to it." Sebastian replied with a smile. "Tomorrow I shall introduce to you the whole household staff. You may tell us your rules and anything you would like to change and I'll make sure everything will be done accordingly."

Keith smiled and watched silently as Sebastian talked to Alex. He knew that Alex was feeling uncomfortable and conscious with his actions at his house even after they got married. However, he would be living here permanently and being his wife everything he owns also belongs to Alex. He's thankful that Sebastian is around to help Alex be at ease.

"Ahhm.. I'm… I… I don't know.. Keith." Alex stared at Keith as if begging him to help deal with Sebastian.

Keith wrapped his arms around Alex's waist before giving him a peck on his lips. "Sebastian is right, you can change anything in the house. It's your house now, everything here belongs to you. You can rearrange things to your heart's content. I am your servant as much as the rest of the people in this house."

"What are you saying? Stop joking." Alex scowled at Keith who just chuckled in response.

"I guess we have established the chain of commands in this house."

"Right. Isn't that the best choice?"

"Indeed Keith. One of your best decisions in life."

Keith laughed as Alex glared at him and Sebastian. "So, what does the Big Boss of the house want to do first? Do you want to eat first or do you want to rest first?"

Alex sighed resigned. There's no use arguing with the two of them. He decided to have their dinner first so they can rest continuously afterwards.

After their sumptuous dinner they head to their room immediately. Alex wanted to unpack, however, he found everything had already been unpacked and arranged for him. He couldn't help but sighed. There are a lot of things he needs to get used to.

"Why the long face?"

Alex shook his head. "It's just that I am not used to having people do things for me. I wanted to personally unpack my clothes but it's already been done. Not that I am complaining but I'm just not used to it."

Keith, who was sitting on the bed, gestured for Alex to come closer to him. He hugged Alex's waist and buried his face in Alex's tummy inhaling his sweet scent.

"Do you want our room to be off limits to the servants? You can do that, though I would prefer that you don't do any housework. You're pregnant and still in the early stage, I don't want you to overwork yourself."

"I know that and I don't want to put Bean in danger too."

"How about this? You can do simple things like arranging our clothes or making our bed but no heavy lifting or any work that would exhaust you."

Alex nodded happily in agreement.

"By the way. I'm going to my parents tomorrow. Don't worry I won't ask you to come with me yet." Keith said when he noticed Alex was fidgeting. "I plan to talk to them first before I bring you to meet them."

"What if they don't like me?"

"Don't worry about it, my mom has been pestering me to get married and give her a bunch of grandkids. I'm sure she'll be happy to know I got married and we also have Bean. Let's just sleep for now. I'm sure you're exhausted."

Alex nodded and allowed Keith to lead him to the bed. The problem with his family has been resolved and now they have to face Keith's family. No matter how you look at it, he's just a nobody and there's no way Keith's family would easily accept him. He couldn't help but worry. He hugged Keith as he tried to calm his mind from unwanted thoughts.
