Chapter 48

Alex could not stop staring at the ring on his finger. It's a simple white band with three small diamonds in the middle. He told Keith he don't want something extravagant and the Alpha did well in fulfilling his wishes. The ring is simple and elegant and he loves it.

The reality of them being married still haven't sink in with him, that no matter how hard he stare at his ring he still could not believe it. It was too fast for him to catch up. They were just talking about it this morning and then just a moment ago they were already signing their marriage certificate. The ceremony didn't even last for fifteen minutes, if that can be called a ceremony. They just exchange rings and "I do" then it was over already. The kiss Keith gave him after their "I do" is much longer than what he can recall about the whole thing.

"Regretting your decision already?" Dan sat down beside his friend.

Alex smiled at this friend and his eyes automatically searched for Keith before answering his friend. "No, I don't think I would." Alex sighed and continue to smile towards his husband. "Sometimes I still think we are moving too fast and at the back of my mind I was thinking we should slow down and think things through. Yet when I look at him all my rationality disappear in an instant and before I knew it, we're already here."

"Doesn't the bother you? That maybe it's just your Omega nature taking over you and that you are doing all these because of the bond?" Dan asked curiously with a worried look.

"I would lie if I will say it doesn't cross my mind. It scare the hell out of me and you know a bonded Omega will only have one Alpha on the other hand Alpha's are not restricted like that. I'm scared that one day he would abandon me." Alex looked at Dan, trying to control the tears that are threatening to fall. "When I suddenly asked Keith to get married I thought he would not agree and I was so happy that he did. I'm really happy Dan believe me, I'm happy even though I know we still have problems to deal with, like telling our family about us. I know Matt would be mad, my parents would be as well." After talking to his mom, Alex knew that his family might get mad but they would never abandon him. He don't know why he's so scared of being abandon when he grew up being doted and cherished by his entire family.

"Anyway, let's stop talking about it. Today is your wedding day and you should smile and be happy." Dan said to his friend when he realized that the atmosphere is getting heavy. It's not fair to ask Alex on things that bothers him as well as an Omega.

Alex smiled at his friend. Dan is correct they shouldn't talk about serious stuff, at least not today. He and Keith agreed to wait for Matt to return before they talk to his family and after everything is settled with his side they will then inform Keith's family.

"Ahmm excuse me, is it alright if I sit here with you guys? It's kinda awkward to be there." Timmy interrupted the two friends, he then pointed at the Jules and his friends who is busy talking to Judge Miller and Sebastian. Honestly he feels awkward here as well but it's better to be around the two Omegas than the group of Alphas, their pheromones are too strong for an Omega like him. Not that they are emitting harmful pheromones but maybe that's just how it is for dominant Alphas.

"Oh sure. I get what you mean." Dan smiled as he look at the Alphas' direction. "I'm Dan, I'm Alex's best friend." Dan extend his hand to Timmy for a handshake.

"I'm Timmy nice to meet you." Timmy replied, accepting Dan's handshake offer. "Sorry to crash your wedding, I hope I did not disturb anything." Timmy then offered his hand to Alex while apologizing for his presence.

"It's okay don't worry. I'm glad you could come." Alex replied, smiling at the other Omega.

"Ahmmm is it okay if I ask you guys something?" Timmy fidgets on his seat. "Sorry if I am too forward, it's just that I never had Omega friends or anyone close to my age. I grew up surrounded by old mens though I see Jules and his brother Jamie from time to time." Timmy explained.

"It's alright, it's always been just the two of us, i'll be glad to have another Omega friend." Alex smiled at Timmy, putting his hands over the other Omega to put him at ease.

"I second that. Feel free to talk to us about anything." Dan added, both he and Alex are already warming up to the other Omega.

"Ahmm.. there is something I wanted to know." Timmy started. Alex and Dan looked at each other, wondering what Timmy would ask them. "Alex you're an Omega right and your husband is an Alpha." Alex nodded. "So.. ahm.. during your ahmm heat.. right.. ahmm you spent it with him.. then ahmm. Damn it. What I'm trying to ask is, what is it like doing it.. that you know.. during your heat." Timmy blurted out, he tried to hide his flustered face with his hands. "Oh my God, that's such a stupid question, you don't have to answer it." Timmy said, still hiding his face.

Alex looked at his friend, he was caught off guard by Timmy's question that he don't know how to respond.

"Well, I haven't done it during my heat cycle so I don't know how to answer that." Dan replied half smiling.

"You didn't?" Alex asked surprised.

"Yeah I didn't, because I don't want us to accidentally bond. I endure it alone during my heat." Dan replied. He was glad that he restrained himself and endured his heat cycle the whole time he was with Eric. There were times he almost give in, but if Eric bit him during his heat and these things happen, he don't know where he would end up right now.

"Oh well. I'm not sure I can be of help as well." Alex scratch his head. "I got my first heat the night I met Keith, then we bonded and I haven't got my heat again maybe because I'm sort of recessive. I.. ahmm I don't remember much about that night, but... I.. think it.. f..felt good." Alex replied shyly.

"Wow that's amazing and now you're married already. I'm jealous. It was like fate. I wish I can be like that too." Timmy replied wistfully.

"It seems like you have someone you like." Dan said teasingly at the dreamy Omega.

"Well I do but he don't see me anyway. Maybe once I started going back to school I'll meet someone else then I'll forget him." Timmy replied staring at his feet.

"Well not all first love ends in happy ending anyway." Dan replied bitterly. "One day you might realize you are better off without that person." Dan said.

"Sorry to interrupt, can I borrow my wife for a moment." Keith suddenly said. "Uncle Sam is leaving now let's send him off together." Keith said, snaking his arms behind Alex's waist.

The newlyweds send off the judge who is rushing to go back home as he promised his wife to have dinner with her. Alex and Keith thanked him officiating their wedding and they also apologized for the trouble of arranging their rushed wedding.

The dinner celebration soon followed and it was lively thanks to Chad of course. Sebastian baked them a small cake which Alex enjoyed so much. Sebastian served another round of non-alcoholic champagne as he said everyone will be driving back and thus cannot drink. It earned a lot of groans and complains from Chad but Sebastian still won in the end. They had a lot of fun despite the lack of alcohol.

Once dinner is over, one by one they all started to leave until only Keith and Alex was left.

"Wahhhhh!" Alex screamed when Keith suddenly carried him. "Put me down."

"It's tradition, they said you have to carry your wife to the bedroom on your first night." Keith explained nonchalantly. He carried Alex all the way to the master's bedroom which is now the couples bedroom. He lay Alex gently on the bed and whispered I love you.

Alex gulped. He forgotten about it, that after the wedding comes their first night as a couple. "We really are married now." Alex whispered as he stare at his fingers again.

Hi guys, just a heads up. I might not be able to update for a few days, maybe a week or so. I will be having a lasik surgery this weekend, hence I won't be able to access my phone and laptop for a while (Doctor said I need to rest my eyes after surgery).
