A duel against Lue Zhou

In a secret room two men are seated as a table separates them.

Seated was Zack's father who had a rather bad mood on his face and seated in front of him was a man who had dark green eyes , a white hair that fell down to his back. He had a scare across his cheek and also having a mustache

He's eyes seem to hold wisdom and superiority unseen like any other and his aura spoke of a strong and powerful individual many could rarely have a fight with and an aged individual at that.

He was no other than the Walton's family Monarch and Zack's grandfather, Lucas Walton. The man placed his gaze on Zack's father as he asked a question.

"Grey is it true that Zack awakened" he asked sternly as his voice sounded cold and authoritative.

"Of course father but how did you get to know?" Zack's father was a bit puzzled.

"Well l have my eyes everywhere" he said straight forward and that's when Zack's father gets the idea of what's he is saying actually.

"Ah l should have known you have been keeping tabs on docter Cromwell so am sure you must made him spill the beans right?" He guessed immediately.

"At least you got it there, so what type of martial energy ability did awakened" Alfred Walton asked .

"Well he awakened the golden martial energy ability" grey tells him.

"Really! That's incredible since he managed to reawaken at least am glad it wasn't that thing we sealed in him that awoke" he breaths out a sigh of relief.

"Can we really stop that thing from awakening in him" Zack's father asked.

"Well l myself is not that sure about that" then Alfred clears his throat as he is about to speak again.

"We have Hugh matters to attend to , first this is the disturbing news am sure you got a hold of it, the Lue family wants a marriage agreement with we the Walton's . between their first son Lue Feng and sora my granddaughter your daughter" he explained.

Immediately Zack's father martial energy explodes uncontrollably as his expression becomes furious.

"What do those bastards want my daughter for , or do they just want to get another item that their son can use to dual cultivate and enhance his genes" he spoke with anger.

"Well l wasn't going to let that happen at all nor agree to it , but they is a certain someone that is backing them up that they had the guts to ask for such thing" anger was evident on the Monarch's face.

"I don't care who the hell is backing them up , such thing will never happen" grey slammed his hand on table with anger.

"This person is actually Lucas Valdosta , the infamous bloodthirsty abilitan and cruelest person ever to walk this planet , his power is unimaginable and his abilitys are dark based making him a formidable opponent to fear. His genes are mutanted making him one of the strongest abilitan in the country" Alfred tells grey who listen with annoyance.

"What if they got the backing of Lucas Valdosta , the fact is simple , hell no are my giving my daughter to them"

"Well calm down grey , an opportunity knocked at our door today. Zack had an encounter with the second son of Lue Ming , Lue Zhou and they got involved in a stand off at each other and Lue Zhou asked for duel and Zack accepted" he explains to grey.

"Seriously but Zack just awakened" he could not believe it.

"Well fear not , for Zack to accept the duel despite knowing he can't win easily , he must have a plan" he asures Zack's father.

"Fine then let's see how it plays".

Two days later

In an arena in the Walton's estate , many of the Walton family and Lue family are present to watch a duel between Lue Zhou and Zack.

The arena was huge and the people were already seated on floating platforms, meanwhile the monarch of the Walton household was present as well as the Lue family's Monarch , Lue Ming.

Both Monarchs sat down together as they discussed, the Lue family's Monarch was a man with a short brown hair and grey coloured pupils , his nose was well constructed and his brown mustache perfectly groomed also having a beards. He was much younger than Alfred

"Alfred l heard from my son that your grandson recently awakened" the man asked with a cunning smile on his face. But he kept Lue Ming quiet and looked on.

"Well if you don't answer am not offended, but just to let you know that my son will win this duel and you will have no choice but to agree to our terms" Lue Ming said with a grin on his face.

'you cunning fox , let's see whether you can do as you wish because you got Lucas Valdosta at your back' that was what went through Alfred's mind.

Standing in the center of the arena were two individuals , Lue Zhou and Zack. Zack wore a red combat suit while Lue Zhou own was purple.

"What's that trash doing there?"

"Get off the arena you mongrel with no ability"

"Dreamer do you think you can fight against an abilitan with no ability awakened , you are just dreaming"most of the Walton members rained insults on Zack as he was asked to get of the stage.

" I just hope this duel go's goes well for me because" and he remembers kratos words last night.

"Although your opponent is stronger than you, but don't forget that with the ability cultivation you can copy his ability that gives him the advantage and use it against him" Zack pauses a moment.

"Are my really sure this is going to work well during this duel" then in his hand was a sword whose blade texture was that of a crystal and it's Colour was blue and it glowed.

This sword is a rank 1 weapon and it's name is the banezet sword, the banzete sword is made from banezet ore and this ore was really a big deal of this era were abilities reign supreme, these ores were formed after the thick accumulation of bane energy underground, in caves or rather in hiils.

Looking at the sword he held, Zack remembered what he's father had asked him yesterday.

"Son what weapon will you like to use" Zack upon hearing his father's question answered.

"A sword!!"

Now standing was Zack who held his sword tightly and Lue Zhou who had a smug expression on his face.

"You know what , you shouldn't had accepted the duel because right here you are going lose and am going to make you live in shame today" Lue Zhou scoffed as he got ready for the battle to begin.

"Well let's just see how it plays out" Zack was unfazed by his boasting.

[ Dear warriors the battle is about to begin, you can reveal your status panel if you wish. Warning no inflicting grave injuries or death] a mechanical voice sounded and then the arena area was covered in invisible energy shield.

"Well just to make this fair , l can reveal my status panel for a weakling like you see the difference in power" Lue Zhou said proudly and immediately a grey coloured holographic screen appears in front of him.

Zack was surprised on seeing his stats because sora was right when she said about him been an abilitan for a year now.

'this kids combat power is higher than mine and his talent is silver, but my gene trait is higher than his' Zack evaluated everything as he thought of plan but seeing things the way they are , but zack wasn't quite confident that only with his high gene trait he could win.

Also Lue Zhou had placed a restriction on his skills which no one could see his skills, now Zack without been able to know his skills was really unprepared for what he was going to throw at him.

'damn! since l don't know his skills l really got no idea what his gonna throw at me' Zack cursed inwardly but he had no choice because he accepted the duel.

"Brother why let that weak son of yours accept a duel with Lue Zhou , you know his just going to disgrace us in front of the Lue family" a man who hard a black curled hair and the same green eyes as grey , he wore a brown suit which fitted him perfectly, spoke to Zack's father with an Express of mockery.

" Brother luke why would you care suddenly when you don't like seeing me around huh!" Zack's father spoke in an indifferent tone towards him. This man was Luke Walton , Grey's elder brother.

They both had an unusual brother relationship because their father Alfred Walton had found favor with grey who was the younger one and decided to pass down the monarch title onto him once he stepped down.

This all happened because Luke had worked with an emeny of the Walton family , which almost caused the death of some family members and their siblings. And their father stripped him off from been the next successor of the Walton household.

Since that day Luke had always had a deep hatred for grey and disliked everything about him including his family.

"Because your very existance disgusts me" Luke said with disdain.

"Then get used to it" grey said been unborthered by his remark and Luke became annoyed and he was about to yell.

"You two STOP IT!!" the authoritative voice of their father descended upon both of them.

Luke closed his mouth and scoffed with anger and grey just whistled as if nothing happened.

[ Battle start protocol triggered , the battle begins now, participants get ready]

The mechanical voice announced the beginning of the duel.

"Zack get ready because you are gonna regret ever accepting this duel" Lue Zhou eye's had a cold glint and he held two Short daggers whose metal was purple black and a purple faint aura emitting from it.

"Wait are those , rank 3 phantom blade daggers" Alfred and grey were in surprised.

"You two shouldn't be surprised , my son deserves it after all and with his combat power he can wield such weapon" Lue Ming had a smug look on his face.

Father and son had a worried expression on their faces because Zack could only wield a rank 1 weapon.

[ Start!!!]

The mechanical voice have the green light.

"Unleashing 12% of Combat power" suddenly Lue Zhou's body begain to radiate with a yellow energy and yellow lighting crackles could be seen around his body.

"Here l come"

And Lue Zhou dashed at Zack at the speed of lightning and behind he left specks of yellow lighting as he dashed forward.

'sh*t this kid is damn fast!!' Zack prepared for the incoming Lue Zhou.
